Having big time problems with RDA's and I'm looking for some advice. I have a few kayfun's that I use most of the time and I have no issues with them. No matter what I do, I cough my face off with the RDA's. I'm using the same 6mg juice that I use in the Kayfun's but everything I do I end up coughing. I've tried coils from 1.2 ohm down to 0.3 ohm with all variations of airflow, and I get the same result. I'm also doing all mouth to lung inhales on both.

I've tried 4 different RDA's and I've tried single and double coil builds, but nothing changes.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, this is getting very frustrating.

Thanks, Brian

Not that this helps you much............but I experience the exact opposite. Cough my head off everytime with my Russian 91's, switched to RDA's and it went away. I stayed with the same juices so it could be something to consider as stated above. Just something with those itty-bitty chambers on the Kayfun styles that tickle and itch causing a total coughing fit.

Yea try lower nic hard at time to find under .6 though I've seen a few places with 3 I've currently gone to zero and vape for the pleasure

Just seems strange....next to nothing comes in 3mg, and everyone is using RDA's....?

I can't imagine they're all using 0mg...?

I make most of my own juices. However, there are a couple of dessert flavors, which I cannot duplicate. In those instances the vendor offers a 0mg and a 6mg. I order both of the said and mix what I need together for my RDAs.

I have a Russian 91%. I have noticed that I get the coughing with too low resistances and too high of applied voltages. Kayfun and Russians are not really meant to sub ohm. If you're using a mech mod try simple .8 ohm build with the coil centered over the air hole. If you have a VV/VW device try a 1.2 ohm build @ 10 - 14 watts (below 4 volts). if you have any questions shoot me a msg!

I would definitely suggest you try lowering your nicotine for dripping. RDAs hit much harder than your standard device, even if you're not diving too low into subohms. I know 3 doesn't sound like a lot. But consider this: 6 mg is pretty universally regarded as the highest nic level you should try with an RDA. I'd say it's comparable to 18mg with your standard Kanger, or whatever, tank. RBAs are different. I don't know why they're different, but they are. I use both. I can tolerate a higher nic level with RBAs. I can go 12, or 18 with an RBA. 6 mg is the most I can do with an RDA, but most of the time I use 3.
