having problems refilling e cig

My boyfriend and I both have the e cigs and we're fairly new at this but we've seen videos and had people tell us how to refill them. And everytime we refill them we have problems we have to use tools to unscrew it apart but the videos online show you can just unscrew it with your hands so easily. Well last night in trying to change out my boyfriends filter (mind you we changed mine with no problems) well we ended up cracking the glass tank and can't get it back together so now we can't use his and he's pretty upset. He's been using mine but it's hard because I like using the flavors like strawberry and cherry and he likes just plain tobacco flavor. And we don't even know if that glass tank can be replaced. Not to mention were very low on funds.

Not all filling is logical. Ideally, we'd need to know what sort of tank (clearomiser) you have.

Maybe your tanks are disposable or something?

Well, that's good news. You could have been ripped off by some scam brand.

The iPow should have come with a BCC clearomiser of some sort. As you have found, there are plenty of tutorials for BCC, or Evod or Aerotank etc.

Maybe you got unlucky and messed up the threads... it happens.

And the smoke shop told us what filter to buy and the new filter is smaller than the old filter. And when we took off the old filter that's what cracked the glass and broke a piece off. And I know there's no way in really fixing that glass without replacing it.

I bet you are right.

The filter (the atomizer head, I'm guessing) needs to match the product. Again, easily done with Kanger Products. It's not really Kanger's fault, but they did make a crazy amount of coils trying to perfect the technology.
I no longer use silica atomizer heads, Kanger now do cotton wool ones, they are better.

Kanger iPow2 is a type of battery, I'd suggest removing the tank from the battery (it just unscrews) and just going out and picking up a new tank, the kanger genitank is a fairly cheap tank that works perfectly with the iPow2 and is fairly simple to fill..

^^^ I agree, you can find plastic and glass clearomizers very cheap even at local vape shops.. And if you still have the Ego to 510 Adapter (The Little metal adapter pictured above) You can use Ego or 510 threaded tanks with the battery..

GS air tanks are relatively cheap, replacement coils are relatively cheap and have pretty good lifespan. Gives a good vape.
