Having problems with my Cloupor DNA 30 and RDAs

I recently got a Cloupor DNA30 box mod and using it with my Lemo RTA it works like a dream, but whenever i try to use my Brass Monkee rda in a couple of hits it gives me the Too Hot error. Obviously RDAs get hot but i dont think a couple of hits should be that much especially when only vaping at 12watts. Is anyone else having problems or could it maybe just be with the small size of the rda? Im not really sure how it compares to others since its my first RDA but i do have a Tobh 22mm atty coming as well as a Vulcan on the way and i would hate to have to use my Mech Mod to do my dripping. I Should also mention that when using my RDA I usually build about a .35 ohm coil. Any help or just feedback would be much appreciated!
