Just got my Cloupor 30 mod in my vape mail today. Great craftsmanship and love the weight of it. Just having one teensy issue. When I screw my Kanger Aerotank all the way down, I get an error message. It says that it is shorted. If I back the tank out, problem solved. Has anyone else had this issue? I don't normally screw the RDA or tank down tight on my other devices but adjusting the airflow on the tank (it's a new tank so the airflow adjustment is still tight), I noticed the error message. Any info?

I don't have that particular mod, but that's an issue that has been seen in other regulated mods.

I'm assuming that the center pin in the 510 connection on the mod gets pushed down and gets shorted to the body of the mod.

There are two things I can see helping. Well, three.

First, only tighten the atomizer down until it's snug on the mod.

Second, look up "vamo o-ring fix" on YouTube.

Third, buy a flat washer about the same diameter as the Aerotank, and put it on the Cloupor between it and the Aerotank.

It's the insulator in the 510 connector, they are made of silicone or flexible rubber. Screwing it down to tight can compress and over time even rip or tear the insulator. I've replaced countless insulators that were worn or torn to the point it was constantly shorting out.

Always just screw it snug enough to make good contact, especially when using a basic 510 connector, some upgraded connectors have beefier insulators and can take a little more abuse but the basic ones found in most mods will last longer if you just screw it snug.
