Having to constantly top off?

I bought some pre-modded TPB carts for my M401.

I took out the filling, dropped 10 drops of juice, put the filling, made it flush with he inner cart's height, and topped off with 3 more drops.

I put that in the mouthpiece, and puff away.

The only thing different between this and the standard polyfill is that it can now hold 13 drops of liquid, a bit more then polyfill.

BUT, I have to re-fill at the same frequency (TPB or Polyfill, same thing)

From those 13 drops, after a while vapour starts to get weaker.
So I take out the mini cart, and put some drops in there. 4 drops and it's full and flush.
Puff some more, and after a while again I have to put in 4 more drops.
etc, etc, always 4 drops.

Now I don't see the point of TPB vs Polyfill if I have to refill as constantly as before.

Here's a picture of how my inner cart looks like right after I take it apart before dropping 4 drops.

The filling was pushed down by the atomizer I assume as it's not flush with the edges anymore. And it looks like there is has sufficient surface area between the filling and the atomizer.

Is the behavior I'm experiencing normal, or there might be something wrong here?

the PTB seems to hold about 6-8 drops that it will never give up. I can top off my ptb cart with about 8 drops. the trick is, once it looks full use a needle to bring the ptb up to the top, then you can add like 2 more drops. I found on a new atty that it all burns up in 16-20 drags. also, once the cart is full you can touch your attys bridge to it and it will suck up like 3 drops then you can fill the cart some more.

If I may suggest... Try the blue foam mod!!
I have the same PTB cart and PTB didn't work for me at all.
But the blue foam will last until your cart is almost empty so that represent a lot of puff before having to refill and the vapor is always constant. Airflow is also improved. The blue foam is available at most Pet Shop, next to the fish tank... HTH

I'll post this in the mod section when I have some pics but...

Instead of rolling up the PTB and then folding it I tried something a bit different. I took two strips of PTB about 1/4 the height of the inner cart and rolled them up. It took awhile to get them rolled nicely but once done it fit inside the cart and allows the atty to absorb the juice a little bit more efficiently. Like I say I'll post a few pics when I get the process down a bit better.
