Having trouble getting banner to show in signature...

I have reviewed the sticky thread on posting an image in my banner. I wasn't getting the error, so that didn't get me very far. I also read the other thread, and I have similar problem. I put the BB code in the text box and hit preview. The banner comes up fine in the preview, but, once I save the signature, I go to look at previous posts to see if it's there and no banner. I have tried adding the

mods, please close or delete thread. My banner seems to be working now. I probably should have made a post before making this thread. Shame on me!! [slap][slap]
