Before I rant and babble too much, I have a rattle that I despise greatly. I use the 18650 tube. I've tried button tops and it makes a gap on top and bottom, causing the firing button to unscrew often. LAME. So I'm forced to use flat tops. I wouldn't mind so much if it was flush. So my question is, can I make it sit perfect with a battery, ANY battery? Just what can I do? 18350 w/kick2? I don't have one but I can go to the local store. Or 18500? I just do not know, and only have 650 batteries. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I love this mod. I found this at ace hardware, perfect fit but too long.

Just cut the part you got at the hardware store shorter. Hacksaw if you must or a Dremel with cutoff wheel. About half way between its uncut length and the length of the pin you're replacing looks right to me. If not spend another buck and cut another to a different length.

Thanks for the help guys maybe later I can get this working better. Would a 18350 or 18500 with a kick 2 be the same, larger, or smaller than a button top 18650? I only have 18650's and no kick, I can easily purchase them but I don't want to have to purchase unneeded items. Also these are spacers and washers for my yoyo's would it be ok to use these spacers on top of my batteries if I put an o ring around them so they don't touch the tube?
