So I've had my HCigar Kayfun 3.1 clone for several months now. It's held up quite well, until about the past month where it constantly "weeps" from the fill hole after filling. Occasionally this will not happen, but at this point more often than not I will get a constant, but slow, leak from the fill hole that will eventually leak down the side of the tank. I cannot for the life of me figure out what is causing this! I empty the tank and refill it, I try different methods of filling it/turning it for the air bubble, I try different juices/coils/amounts of cotton - but nothing seems to make a difference.

I have checked all of my O-rings and have also messed around with the fill hole to assure that the spring-loaded mechanism is properly "closed". However, when I blow from the outside of the tank through the fill hole, I can hear the air/juice and can tell there is clearly an air leak, though it is tiny. However, even since discovering this air-leak I will occasionally have this filled with no leaking (the past 2-3 weeks the tank has worked beautifully with no leaks!).

Does anyone have any experience with this? I just got my rDNA 40 and for several days the Kayfun worked great, but with this new issue I'm afraid to put it on and possibly have a leak into the circuitry of the unit. Looking forward to hearing everyone's experiences and fingers crossed this won't need to be tossed into the back of the vape drawer.

Did you check vacuum to make sure all the o rings really are ok?

Would you mind explaining the process for checking the vacuum? Visually, I can see all the o-rings are OK but obviously there could be an issue that my eyes don't pick up. With that said, I was always lead to believe that a vacuum issue/busted o-ring would lead to a much more intense leak rather than the slow "weep" that I'm experienced. Regardless, I'm open to figuring out any way to make this work!

Also sometimes if u screw that fill screw too much it actually displaces the oring causing a leak

Thanks for the insight regarding this. I tried using the fill screw the first 1-2 times when I got the unit and did not enjoy it, nor did it work well. There's definitely a chance I messed with the screw, however. Do you know how I can access the o-ring you speak of?

This happened with my Taifun. It was a very slow weep. A little bit of air was getting in. You need to plug the airhole with your finger and suck hard on the drip tip. If you get any air, it isn't holding vacuum. Trying to track down which o ring can be hard. I just replaced all of mine and it was fixed.

And make sure you don't overtighten any parts as that can compress an o ring.

Check your top cap as well. Sometimes the o ring the chimney top seats in falls out or moves.

Thank you! While I don't have the Kayfun with me (no leaky tanks when out and about ;) ) I already know that I will get air coming in from the fill hole as I have tried this. Per Heespharm's suggestion I will try and play around with the o-ring in the fill screw and will replace the rest of them to see how this all shakes out. Any input from others is also welcome.
