Picked up a Kayfun Quartz Kit from FT and put it on my Silverplay with a kayfun top cap and chimney. Fits together great, except the tank seems to block some of the fill hole where I can only get about 1.5ml in with my needle tip bottle before it starts coming back out the fill hole. Tried taking the top cap off to fill, but then the deck flooded and I had to blow the leaking juice out of the airholes.

Lots of people are talking up the Silverplay & Kayfun combos, so how do I fill when using a quartz tank with my Silverplay deck?

Thanks,
Treeburner

I've never refitted my Silverplay, but I gotta say, excellent flavor and prolly the most temperamental RTA to coil and wick I've ever used. Up until now, no matter what I do, it always sweats juice from around the AFC ring. If you have any suggestions regarding that prob Roxy, I'm all ears!

Here's my build. I haven't had any problems with it other than its ugly, lol! I was going to get a top cap and use my quartz kit, too. Hope this helps:

Thanks, Roxy!
I used 28 and a slightly wider ID to come up with a 0.5 build. Also, don't have the tails coming down as far as yours.
Was thinking I should adjust the the ID. The "tech" I spoke to at VaporDNA suggested a 3mm ID. I'm at about 2.8mm.
Love the flavor and vapor I'm getting, but won't carry with it because of the bit O'drippage. Also, using it on a Paps though I know it was designed for VW reg mods.
Gonna rebuild sometime this week. My problem isn't too bad, but this is the first time I've had to consign a tank to home use only.

I'm using mine on a Stingray. I think its a great tank for a mech. I tried 28g wire and my resistance would be perfect, then it would slip to the side and I would end up cutting the wire. Of course sanding my post screws would stop that problem.

Try giving it bigger tails. I haven't had any leaking or condensation.

I have the same problem with the Kayfun nano quartz tank from Fastech. Aside from the limited capacity, I am getting constant dry hits - probably because the sleeves holding the glass are somehow blocking air from escaping out of the channels.

I love Stingrays! And agree that it looks and works great on a mech.
Bigger tails it will be, then!
:)
Thank you!
