Kayfun Lite leaking issue

Im having trouble with leaking on my Kayfun Lite. It only happens when I refill. The threads on my fill hole have been stripped off so I dont fill from the bottom anymore. I remove my topcap and fill from there. I cover the air hole before i fill it up and replace the topcap and screw it a bit then flip it upside down. The second I let go of the air hole I get maybe 5-6 drops of juice leakin from the drip tip. Not sure why it leaks. I have a Kayfun 3.1 as well and fill it up the same way but that doesnt leak, only the Kayfun Lite. Need some advice on how I can fix this issue or if im doing anything wrong. Also I cant fill it up more than 3/4 of the tank full. Even when I filled it up from the bottom fill hole, it would leak after I flip it back upright. It seems to settle at around a little more than half the tank. Any tips or advice would be great help.

John, I have almost a football team of KFs and some are poorly made clones which might be the source of your issue. Try this in the exact order and see if it helps.

Remove the top cap
THOROUGHLY lube the threads on the top cap. I use a 50/50 PG/VG Mix but you could also use the same juice that is in the tank
Slowly fill the KF to around the where the top threads of the top screw into the chimney
Wait a few seconds and let it settle
Cover the air hole with your finger
Gently and carefully screw on the top cap. Snug. All the way down
Remove your finger from the air hole
Turn the KF upside down
Tissue over the drip tip and blow through the air hole on the side
Turn the KF the other way as in drip tip up and ready to install on your mod

I am aware that my procedure is NOT what a lot of folks recommend but it works every single time with my two low quality clones which have the fill valve on the side (it broke) sealed with food grade silicon. Both are still in service

Good luck
:)
