HCigar Nemesis Clone..Yay or Nay?

Hey guys, i just recently ordered an hcigar Nemesis clone. I ordered it for multiple reasons. The first of which being that the original is far to expensive for someone in college on a budget, the second reason being that i just started to get into building RBAs and i figured this would be a nice mod to cape off of a patriot or igo L. Now, i didn't just order this thing headlong, i watched countless reviews on youtube and they all and positive things to say about it. I mean for 40$ you really can't go wrong. I was just wondering if anyone else has this mod and what they thought of it? Any input positive or negative is welcome. Thanks!

It's a very good clone (I've got both this and the authentic version). Other than a slight button hiccup (light scraping when depressing) on the clone, there is virtually no difference. You won't be disappointed.

The thing looks great with just about any topper, but I'm a big fan of the kayfun variant RTA's and, for my money, it just doesn't get any sleeker.

Hcigar Nemesis clone is probably one of the best clones out there. If you disassemble the switch and pull out the little spring it will cure the switch hiccup and make it smooth. Also can get the magnets if you like, super smooth. Just remember to remove the small kick ring, if not using the kick, or you will have battery slap. Make sure the switch contact is tight, or it can back out upon use and cause a misfire. The only con on the Nemi is that the locking ring isn't reverse threaded, so sometime the switch housing will back out a tab when locking it. You made a fine choice for your first venture into mechanicals. If you get a kick for it make sure you get the Evolv kick 2, can crank it up to 15 watts and accepts build of .5-3.3 ohms. Better power management than the original, has dual ground post so no misfires.

Just did, working great now! Shortened the throw a bit too, which is a plus.

I have 3 nemesis clones.

The brass button is better from a wear in perspective. FT brass button is pretty smooth but about 5 degrees wobble. Smoothest switch of the bunch. I media blasted shinny brass.

FT SS was way to crunchy; must polish post to relieve crunch. No easy solution for 5 degree wobble. switch bound unless pressed dead nuts center. I sanded and mirror polished. Blasted ring.

101vape SS has near zero wobble. Usually fires with edge press. Reasonably smooth; just a little crunchy.

Other than crunchy binding switch the nemesis is very good.
I have polished switch posts on SS Nemies. Magnets in all 3. Greased all switch posts. removed all anti-spin pins, shimmed switch throw, shimmed magnet force, installed short firing pins.

Presently all 3 nemeis are working great and all switches stroke like butter most of the time. Still get occasional switch click.
