Hcigar nemmy top derlin replacement?

Hey guys, I searched and didnt find anything so I guess I'll ask here. I have a nemmy clone that i use for work so I don't mind banging it around. I wasn't thinking last night and sat it down without locking the button and it got real hot before I caught it. Well the top derlin piece now falls out, it still works but the screw won't stay in place on its own. does anyone know Where I can get a replacement for it? The only one I found was on vaprev but it looks different than what I have. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The one from vaprev seems to have threads. The hcigar is more of a press fit. But I will probably get a spare from them for my real nemmy.

No one has any suggestions? Thats kind of odd. I would think I'm not the first person this has happened to.

Do you have magnets in the switch, it should not have fired even if not locked.

I do have the magnets. I had the aga t2 on top which is pretty heavy.

I use an Ithaka - heavier than AGA-T - No problems with magnets. You have to get them set up properly though.

I placed a 1.5mm nylon spacer under the bottom magnet to bring them closer. No problems at all with holding heavy tanks.

Hmm. Thats good to know. I got the magnets off ebay so maybe they were just crap magnets. I'm goimg to order another beater nemmy clone so maybe I'll try and find better magnets...or just remember to lock it.

That's your problem then...you have to lock it every time. I just found this out over the weekend when I got mine. Talked to someone tonight who said he had 3 in his and that helped. I had ordered 10 from a China company for $3 but they are out of stock. I bet people are getting the same ones and selling them for $10 on eBay a pair. Their crap you can't blow on the mod and not fire it. He's going to give me a few to see if it helps If not I'm putting the springs back in until I can get the real ones or search for really strong ones.

I knew I was going to forget to lock it at one point but was trying not to forget.haha maybe I'll have better luck with the next one.

I tried 3 or 4 what that does is shorten the throw in the switch and makes it hard to fire. Nope. Received another set from Fat Daddy Vapes last night and they are 1:1 copies of the real strong magnets not the ebay ones. The mod will not fire with a atomizer on it. I even put a 91% on and stacked a AGA-T on top of it and it did not move! Ordered a second set right away. Order a replacement cap and get these really, Dennis the owner knows the business he has helped me a lot.

Once you get the magnets set up right there is no need to lock it.......unless you are pocket carrying the mod. Then it is just for safety sake.
I can Fill the Ithaka Tank, unlock the Nemesis, sit it down and pull down to fire it. Let go and it pops up to the full off position.

If you are using a longer through - Bottom pin screwed out, space the lower magnet Up.
If you have a Super Heavy Topper - Full size Kayfun(maybe) Then use 3 magnets < All Opposing > This will provide plenty of tension for any topper.

Very cool! I'm going to look those up, thanks for the suggestion. I still have no idea where to get a replacement top. I just ordered a full clone to replace it with.

I think the insulator in the top cap is not delrin but plastic or something. Today my top pin got hot and fell down and got stuck in the tube somehow. I had a heck of a time getting the mod apart thought it had a short. It was hard to thread it back in like the threads had melted. It may not hold up to high heat.... ordered a fuse.

A fuse to keep it in there would probably be a good idea. You're right about the plastic piece in the top I tried to heat it up in hopes it would go and stay back in the top cap... needless to say I have a bunch of extra nemmy clone parts now lol.

I finally found the replace top insulator I needed. Fatdaddyvapes has them in packs of two. They work great. Now I have my first nemmy clone back in working order.

I have an Hcigar nemmy and the threads in the the top delrin are a bit wonky. I got new top delrin pieces from fatdaddyvapes, but I can't figure out how to get the original delrin piece out. I already effed up one of my nemmy top caps trying. Any suggestions?

Well from experience I know that it will come out really easy if you get it hot. Just don't expect to ever use it again.
