I just bought the hcigar nemmy clone from 101vapes at their Christmas sale, and was very excited for it. Very much looked forward to flush mounting my atties, and having a good mech. recived it today, took it out of the box, and threw my trident clone on it.

Before I had been using my trident clone on my zmax, and with a little adjustment i could get it screwed down as far as it could go and still fire. However, on the nemmy there is a large gap. I had read someone before saying this clone didn't work with their Nemesis, so I thought, no big deal, i'll just use my RSST, its 22mm it will look fly.

That didnt screw down either. I tried my other drippers, an "a6" from Vapure, my
smoktech squid, IGO W, hell even a vivi nova, everything only screwed down so far until the threads went tight and left a gap. Anyone have this problem or know if there's an easy fix? I'm quite unhappy with this, kinda ruins the mod for me.

The smallest the gap gets:

Gap w/ Trident clone (without pin in, i can get it to fire if i have the pin almost all the way screwed out)

So just to verify, when you adjust out the 510 pin inside the Nemesis head (maybe even remove it to test) the atty will not thread on flush at all?

Ie this pin:

When you say the pin is almost all the way screwed out are you refering to the adjustable connector pin in the nemesis head or the pin on the bottom of the trident clone?

i have two nemesis clones and one had that problem.

I am assuming that you loosened the pin from the bottom of the top cap.

what i did was to take something with 510 threads that you dont care about and carefully tighten it into the threads. i used a clearomizer that came with one of my mods that i never use. once i used that to force thread it my other attys were able to go flush and the mod worked fine. A little tight on the threads but it works. (be careful if you try this as it is possible to damage the threads)

Four and Three-quarters turns on the trident from just catching to stuck.
This is how far down my threads go in the topcap, 5 by my count. There's tons more in my zmax, that go down all the way past the pin, same with my MKB-TS. Did they just not carve out enough threads?

I'd wait for other owners to pop in and confirm, but it looks like they didn't machine it properly/seat the connector deep enough in the head(looks deeper in other pictures, but could be pic angle etc).

Luckily you got it from 101 and if it is a manufacturing issue, they should make it right.

Does anyone know if 101vape actually sells hcigar clones? I picked up a sentinel from 101, it's just fine. But I don't think that the firing pin on top is spring loaded like I have seen hcigar sentinel's to be. Granted, they have great prices and are in the U.S. so it really doesn't make too much of a difference as long as it works.

I have 2 nemesis clones and one had that exact problem. I took another clearo and used it to force the threading so that the kayfun worked flush like its supposed to. But if you just bought it it should work properly out of the box. If you dont want to try what i did, just see if 101vape will exchange it for you.
