Who had the instant ~60% to 30% batt drop?

I think I've got it too. :(
The battery bar gets its information from the watt hour value that you can change in EScribe (mod tab). If you use a value too far from actual, the battery bar will behave poorly. It doesn't hurt anything if it is and it doesn't mean something is wrong with your dna.

I don't think that's the problem (though I did recently up mine from 18.5 to 19.5 because the bar ran out before my Sammies did) but if that's how the DNA "resolves" its sense of the charge mid-way through... I don't like it.

But we'll see. Are you the one who posted of it happening?

No I didn't post it. And the DNA works with the real watt hours, not what is printed on the batteries. I don't like watt hours for the battery bar either. As I am far more comfortable using battery voltage as a battery gauge. But Evolv's is far more accurate if you use the true watt hours. If your battery charger doesn't have a mah gauge, you can write down what the DNA says for watt hours (from the Device Monitor) and use it until the batteries quit. Then subtract this watt hours from the other one and that is your true watt hours.

Yeah, I signed up too but never heard anything. I emailed them last week and asked if they knew when they would be back in stock and they said they didn't have a clue so I ended up ordering from VapeNW for $79 shipped. Not a bad price but I would have rather ordered from Ecig. They did ship quick though and it arrived in my city last night.

Does anyone happen to have the CSV for Dual LG HE4s?

I have been ordering from Vape NW for a couple 3 months now and they ship fast. The free shipping is 2 day USPS. $79 is a great price.

Got it in today and had it set up in 1/4 of the time it took me to set up my first dna200. Its much small than i thought and it feels great in the hand. Quality seems very nice except for the door wabble but assuming I can find any in stock anywhere I'll be ordering one of the colored rubberized doors soon. Even if it doesn't fix the wobble I think I will still prefer the rubberized finish. Seems very smooth and dropable with the metal door. Didn't get the bag some of you mentioned either but no big deal. Very happy with it so far especially for the same price as just the board retail and that's shipped!

Anyone know of any doors in stock anywhere? gearbest were OOS and FastTech has them discontinued.

Just take off the door and give it a good squeeze. Now your problems are over.....assuming you haven't got the door on upside down like vapingwithtwisted did in his original review.

Right from the start, I've given each a careful, firm couple of squeezes though only the first Black frame had a slight maybe half mm vertical play. They're just nicer when the clam shell is seated tightly.

The cover appears to be symmetrical. Other than having the two labels facing opposite directions, what effect did reversing it have for Dufus420?

Yeah the notches for the ball bearings are not centered. So when dufus420 reversed it, the ball bearings doesn't lock the cover. Then he complains about the cover just falls off. :?:

Ah, gotcha. I see the offset now.
I had to examine one just now to notice it can be tugged loose when reversed.

I did mention I make mine tight right out of the box? :p

I did that and I also tried the doors both ways as soon as I discovered it shortly after opening. The play isn't back and forth but rather up and down. Not really a big deal for me but I'm hoping the rubberized doors will fix it if I can find them in stock anywhere.

On mine, the coating eliminates the metallic click but the minute play is mostly still there.

It's odd... only the first one, Black/Black, has the vert. play. It's the frame itself I believe.
The Silver/Black is fine and both Black covers click on the first frame.

I just tried the cover from the new Black/Blue on the first... as described above.

Sorry I can't say it'll fix the play, but as you say (I agree) it's not a major annoyance.
I actually have to use a two-handed hold to make mine click. It's under a half mil of play.

If it matters...
Black/Black - #406X <- this is the "clicky" one
Silver/Black - #1032X
Black/Blue - #907X

"Mr. Clicky" (I think I'll keep that :) ) is also the one with the dodgy 510.
My 'Mizer and a slew of other attys wont sit flush. :(

Spray them with plastidip. It will give you the rubberized coating, add a bit of material to the top and bottom which should reduce the up and down play, and if you decide you don't like it or want to change colors, or if the coating gets damaged you can always peel it off and do it again.

And you've got a much wider range of colors to choose from, which can give you a more custom appearance.

Oh, no. I don't mind the wiggle but I did not know the black on black had a 510 issue or I wouldn't have gotten it
How bad is it? I haven't gotten around to actually using it yet. Now you've got me worried.

Good idea. Can I just get it at home depot or Ace or do I need to order online? I'll probably give it a try since I can't find replacement doors anywhere.

None of mine have a 510 issue. I think he must have just got a bad one. I haven't heard of it being a widespread issue or particular to Black. What I'm trying to say is, I really think you will be alright!

Steve
