I sure am happy that I didn't buy any 200 boards.

Can't even build one of these for that cheap.

Even at coop price, the board and just the enclosure is gonna run ya $125.

Think of all of the peeps that jumped the gun and blew $100 or more on printed plastic boxes? Saw a couple on feebay for $300.

They're gonna see these mods and say, "WTH was I thinking?"

Shekinahsgroom,

I couldn't agree with you more if I tried. And I think the price on those printed plastic boxes are just crazy anyway. If I ever get it the VTx200 cost me $120 and free shipping. I couldn't buy the box, magnets and the battery for that price.

Ahek,

With things like the Koopor Mini for $35 dollars I think a lot of local vendors are going ot take a big hit in the wallet.

Comparing Chinese crap to a DNA just doesn't fit in the same sentence....

The iStick clones have been done to death, but the DNA200 is a whole new ballgame!

Gearbest has the hotcig DNA 200 listed for $149.00 but if you use this coupon code (DNABOX200W ) it will bring it to 115.00

I'm holding off on any DNA 200 for right now even if that means paying a bit higher price. I have learned don't get on the band wagon for anything. I personally like the look of Hcigar VT 200 the best so far and thought the black with the white skin made it stand out even more. But I'm still not sure about that 510 yet. I'm doing so research brass 510's and if it crapped the bed so to speak if I could find some one to replace it for me. I don't know how to solder so I can't and the hubby isn't real good either

Any phone 1 amp charger will do.

Yes I know a standard 1 amp charger would do fine, but I am looking for a higher amperage charger to boost charging time, I'm sure I heard somewhere that a iphone charger has been used in changing this device and one which was of a higher amperage, not to sure certain of what that amperage it was.
So I was wondering which one to look out for, and what is the maximum amperage these can be charged with without causing any harm to the device.

Even if you use a 15 Amp charger the DNA200 board will only use 1 Amp. Only the VS200 can charge at 2 Amps. An ipad charger is 2.1 Amps.

Not the news I was looking for then, but thanks for the information, I thought it was too good to be true :D

Just had a quick look on the net and apparently it's the Vapor Shark that has a 2 amp zip charger on board. But I haven't seen nothing that says that the Hcigar VT200 has got it.
Oh well you get what you pay for then, I will just have to be more patient then when waiting for it to charge up :)

Hotcig's design has the VS200 beat....

This battery pack design is plug 'n' play....meaning it's detachable and spare packs can be charged using a hobby charger. No down time, just grab a fully charged pack like you would an 18650 batt out of your charger.

This is the only design that I've seen like this so far.

VS's zip charger can't beat the 10 seconds it'll take you to change packs. :)

Spare packs are $25/ea wholesale, retail they'd probably be $35/ea.

Too late I've already spent my months vaping allowance on the Hcigar VT200 :D

I might wait until they start selling the spare battery packs for that one and then invest in a decent Lipo charger :)

Yes I know the Hcigar has got them awful screws instead of magnets but I'm sure I'll manage somehow :)

Spare packs will be available for the VT200 at the end of this month.

Got my vt200 from eciggity...nice mod so far, will need to run case and batt analyzer as that wasn't done by hcigar, it did come with the most current firmware though.

Brass 510 seems solid...and deep, reads my attys slightly lower than my Evolv ref mod and my Opus.

You mean "more acurrate". ;)

Have exacly same (Brass VT40 vs SS HB40). But biggest difference is in TC mode. I dont wanna show it on DNA40 but wiat for DNA200. ;)

DNA 200 uses the static resistance of the atomizer in it's tc calculations. Only variable resistance creates temp inaccuracies.
The lower resistance of the brass 510 will make no difference in tc and only make the resistance shown to be closer to an external accurate ohm meter.
