I'm loving my 510 and I have not had an analog for 27 hrs which is the first time since I started smoking 49 yrs ago. However, I am feeling rather headachy which is a symptom of both too much nicotine or nicotine withdrawals. I'm not sure which.

Does this pass or do I need to figure out if it's too much or too little nicotine? I've been vaping 24mg and 18 mg and I used to smoke 2 1/2 packs of Ultra Light 100's a day, but only half a cig.

How do you feel other than the headache? If you're dizzy or tingly, it might be too much nicotine -- or at least, that's how I feel when I overdo it.

If you just have a headache, it's probably withdrawl from any or all of the 4,000 chemicals you're not getting by switching to e-smoking. :)

Congratulations, and keep it up!

At 2.5 packs a day, only smoking half the cig, you were looking at roughly 12.5 mg nicotine daily.

( ~0.5 mg/ cig * 50 cigs * 0.5 cig )

Unless you are going through half of your 24mg over the course of the day, you are good. :) Most likely it's the withdrawal symptom. While I was a smoker, I would get headaches from chain smoking on 'bad days'.

How much liquid do you go through in a day and how often are you using it?

It's hard to say because I've only been using it about 2 days, but I've been using liquid out of 3 different 10ml bottles - 2 being 24mg and 1 @ 18mg and all together it's been maybe 1/4 of a 10 ml bottle - maybe a little more. I'm not that good at math or measurements.

If it was 1/4 bottle in a single sitting with no break I might be concerned. But I have to agree with previous posts and say that it is likely just withdrawal and it will pass :)

I smoked for 7 years before really trying to quit with gum, which lasted 2 months. I can't imagine what 49 would be like. I'm ready to give up smoking, but not my nicotine ;) Congrats on your decision to quit!

What's amazing to me is that it has been so easy since I never planned on ever quitting. Although, vaping doesn't feel that much like quitting. Both my mother and grandmother smoked for over 70 yrs and lived long, healthy lives, but times have changed and society now hates smoke and smokers. I just don't want to become an anti-smoking Nazi like some people I know! My smoking husband wouldn't appreciate it.
