Hi everybody, I have started vaping about 10days ago and started getting mild headaches. I was advised to llower the juice and try different flavours and also not to vape to much. I have tried all the suggestions I got and finally I had to put the e CIG away today due to constant strong front of head headache,I have been advised by some vendors to try VG juice so I have this ordered. I have tried almost 7 different pg juices since last week and the headache got worse and worse. I had a meeting with doctor today and she didn't know much about ecigs and we decided I would give vaping a break for 24 hours.I got some nicotine spray and I have smoked 3 cigs today. I don't want to go back on the real cigs but I cannot ignore what my body is telling me about the juice that I am using. Can anybody help me out, I wish to get back to vaping asap.thank you :)

drink alot of water when your vaping. ( always good to be drinking 3-4 glasses at least ) but when your vaping it draws water out of your system so always keep very hydrated. try adding lemon to your water it's very beneficial for a variety of reasons. some people have a negative reaction to the PG in juices so yes i recommend trying some organic VG juices. check out velvet cloud vapor online they make there juices completely organic and is 100%VG

Sounds like dehydration to me. In some people even slight dehydration can cause headaches. And, everyone, just naturally, has different hydration needs. A girlfriend of mine has a Big Gulp in her hand all day and doesn't vape. Staying hydrated was the hardest thing I had to get used to while vaping. I chain vape of course but the more you vape, the more you have to drink and preferably not anything with caffeine in it as that also dehydrates. Just to give you an example, its not unusual for me to drink 5 to 6 cans of decaf pop in a 20oz glass full of ice that melts, 3 mugs of decaf coffee and another 20 oz glass of water or juice. I don't know how much that adds up to but it took me some serious getting used to and, sometimes, that's not even enough as I can tell from dry mouth.

I had headaches too and they went away-

3. Headache, Nausea, Shakiness - but see #V4
These, together with irritability, inability to concentrate, poor sleep, depression and so on, are common smoking withdrawal symptoms. If you are using a low-strength refill liquid and not absorbing as much nicotine as when you normally smoked, you can experience these withdrawal symptoms, which typically last only a few days to a week. Perhaps the use of a higher nic strength refill liquid might be a good idea temporarily, reducing the strength as needed. But: see V4

PG is in many products, not many that get cooked and inhaled though. Not sure that has anything to do with it, but once I switched to VG I felt better. You will gunk up coils faster though. Still beats smoking!

PG has been studied extensively. It's in all sort of inhalers. Probably more so that VG.

Yea, it is in lots of inhalers, just not many with hot coils. I don't really know that that makes a difference though. I don't even know that switching to VG is what helped me. Once I switched I felt better so I've never looked back. To be honest, I was pretty serious about smoking and lived with a lot of negative side effects. I would probably vape PG and live with the negative side effects now if I had to.

I started with high VG and got a heavy feeling in my chest. I just had to experiment and now I vape around 70pg/30. That seems to work best for me.

Lots of people find one or the other irritating. I think about 10% have an actual allergy to either one. BTW, both PG and VG are in cigarettes- just a lesser amount.

I got headaches (the same type you described) for a while. That was mainly before I made the switch over and was just 'testing out' vaping while I smoked like normal. I have decided that my headaches were the cause of too much Nic through the day.

I now only have a Cig first thing in the morning and have cut back on my vaping a bit and I no longer get headaches. Only issue now is a bit of an irritated throat sometimes.

TLDR: Play around with your Nic levels and how much you Vape.
