I went to my usual shop today , to get some new coils...not a problem.. while there, i tried a sample of a new juice. ( spearmint, quite a nice vape actually)

the question of the day is, would the ohm level of the coil give a headache, i have no idea what ohm level my previous coils were..
i am using now a juice i had no issue with before, and still have headache, reminds me of when i first started and got headaches because my juice wasnt strong enough...

feedback is appreciated... :)

Have you ruled out other causes for your headaches, such as stress, medical issues, dietary concerns or any other issues? The only vaping related cuses for headaches I can think of off the top of my head are things like using an inappropriately strong nicotine mix, hitting your vape too hard or too frequently or a reaction to some other ingredient in the vape. Some people have particular sensitivities to juice ingredients that are not common to all users. Sudden onset headaches are sometimes caused by blood pressure spikes, interference in blood supply to the brain, sometimes caused by restriction of blood vessels due to inflammation or blockage of blood supply. Another possible culprit is decreased oxygen supply to the brain. There's whole textbooks full of causes for this problem but some primary ones relevant to vapers are dehydration and drug interactions where certain drugs you take (prescription, over the counter or even nutritional drugs such as caffeine and glucose). Dehydration is a fairly common vaping problem but there are a lot of potential issues that are not at all common and could be due to your particular physiology. I would suggest that if you're only experiencing the problem while using certain coils then perhaps those coils are causing an absorption rate that interferes with either your blood pressure or your cardiovascular systems ability to deliver adequate oxygen levels to your brain. If this is the case then you would do well to try different voltage levels and closely monitor the resistance and build of your coils to find the optimal vaping setup.

There's also the possibility that the headaches are a manifestation of anxiety related to stress over the complexity of your vaping hobby. This is pure speculation and should be considered with a grain of salt.

Finally, it might be a good idea to check with your doctor and explain that you're experiencing inexplicable headaches. There's always the possibility that your headaches only coincidentally coincide with your vaping activity. Especially if the headaches increase in frequency or severity and most especially if they seem to occur at times when vaping is not at play.

Good luck to you. I really hope this is just a minor stress issue that works itself out in time.

Yes, sugar, i think you hit the nail on the head.... these new coils burn like the dickens.... :)
Hehe, I too am using spearmint and that is what I had to turn down.
I think the flavor comes out better at the lower vv with this flavor and I had mine too high and it started to burn the wicks.

:)

Just working a little google fu has turned up some indications that spearmint flavors with alcohol content can cause headache symptoms. Maybe if your spearmint flavor has alcohol in it the elevated temperatures are burning the alcohol faster and causing the flavor to vape extra quickly. I could see how this would cause the elevated blood pressure or constricted vascular problems that cause fast onset headaches. It might be worth checking to see if your spearmint flavor has alcohol in it and if so then to vaoe it at lower settings?

its since i got my new coils and a sample of the spearmint... the coils burn quiet well, almost too well, i turned down my voltage to see if that helps.....it very well could be the spearmint too... :)
As others have expressed, I doubt it's the coil as such.

More likely candidates, it seems to me, would be:

Something other than vaping (lots of things can cause headache).
Dehydration.
Too much nicotine (samples at stores I frequent have higher levels than I use).
Sensitivity to one or more ingredients in the juice (e.g. propylene glycol, unfamiliar sweetener, spearmint flavoring).

Hope you sort it out! :)

Head aches can be caused by many things. Not keeping hydrated when vaping, is one key clue. Some extracts can cause head aches to. forgetting to eat and just keep vaping. If you are using a lower oh coil than what you have been with out adjusting you voltage/wattage to compensate, then you are getting more vape into your body during the same amount of time. More nic too. So may have to drink more water to compensate, then you normally do. Put the lime in de coconut and call me in the Morning!!
