Ok so i have been vaping TW tobacco and noticed that after a while i get a headache and sinus pains.

I am vaping a different flavour at the moment with the same strength and dont have the same pains, would this be caused by the flavour?

Its a shame really since i LOVE the tobacco flavour and want to know if there is anything similar? is RY4 similar to 'dark biscuit and caramel'?

Many thanks
Eddy

PS > Only reason i ask is i cant afford to keep buying :(

Hmmm i dont think there is cinnamon in the flavour i use, as far as i am aware anyway! :)

It could be too much nic, although i have just vaped nearly .5ml in the space of 30mins and no headache, that was on 18mg juice to, i was a 40 cig a day smoker, bit of an unusual one and this is the real problem for me lol

I have LOTS of the tobacco flavour that i like, mixed up in various % of PG/VG that i have mixed myself and in doing so i have lowered the flavour, so wanted to get some flavour concentrate and bump it up again, so i didnt waste what i have and like.

But i am trying to find something i can vape all day really without causing too many problems, so right now i am vaping my low flavour 75/25 mix of 18mg juice, and just going to see how it goes since i havent really experienced headaches today as of yet, its mainly in the mornings that i get them, just wanted to try ruling various things out! :)

Thanks for your input i guess the only real way to find out is to try getting some flavour and trying it full flavour, if i get headaches then its time to bite the bullet and move on i think! :)

Thanks again
Eddy

Karla - There is a really info on the info pages of this forum.

You are not getting all the alkaloids you used to get from Tobbacco.

You might be be too much nic as you try to compensate or you could be having other withdrawals.

Those info pages do a good job. You might want to switch juices and see if it changes.

To the OP, I would suspect something in that juice.

Both my husband and I have been getting TERRIBLE headaches since we started vaping. Someone told me they get headaches from P.G. is that a pretty common problem? We don't know what it's from but it's happening to both of us. We though maybe we are getting too much Nicotine.

Possibly too much nic and not enough water. I did go through it too, it could also be a quitting side effect. :( Hang in there and hopefully it will go away soon for you.

It could be withdrawal symptoms or almost anything in the juice. Some people are sensitive to pg or vg. For others it is the flavor. Sweeteners can also case problems. For me it is too much pg and or vanilla.

SWEET HOME ALABAMA
I have been vaping almost a year now, have gone from little ol' 510 to a 5volt VV Sweet Vapes Mod.
Saying that, I also have tried several venders, DIY and gone from 100%PG to 50/50. I was getting headaches
(severe) the minute I opened my eyes, or the headache was what woke me every morning. I tried everything
from changing my PG/VG ratio to changing my nic level. The ONLY THING that has almost completely stopped
my headaches was getting away from the PG completely! NOW before you "experts" comment. I know
most the flavorings are PG base. That is why I said "almost completely". If I am vaping Vanilla I have to use
20-25% flavor. So I usually get a small headache above my eyes. If I vape Pina Colida I use 9% flavor and I DON'T get a headache.
SO....... I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT that PG is the cause of MY headaches. The Less I use the less headaches I get. I can't even use the PEG cause it gives me headaches too.
So some of you may want to try vaping 80-90% VG and see if your headaches are milder or not at all.
I often use about 5% distilled water to thin it. Otherwise it is to thick for the DCT I like to use on my LT LavaTube.
To End: The headaches may continue for 1 or 2 day AFTER you stop using PG so give it a day or two. This is my
experience. It may be different for others.

Great. In other words it could be anything. 6 weeks in and still have the headaches almost daily. Goes away with Motrin so I'm still vaping. Switch vendors and still have it. Hopefully my body will get used to what ever is causing it. Happens to the husband too.

You should start eliminating things one at a time. PG would be a good one to start as that seems to cause the most problems.
