So I got my ego-C and elips on the 28th. They were working amazing! I was so impressed with the difference from having started with a Halo G6. However after 3 days I switched the atomizer in my elips and got a horrible burnt taste which I haven't been able to fix so I put it aside because I didn't want it to get damaged further. Starting Friday I've been having really bad leaking issues with the ego-C. At first I thought I was vapping ALOT bc I was having to refill my tanks every 20 minutes. Then I realized this had to be a leaking issue because my dad was using my other battery without problems. So I don't know if it's that the atomizers I got are bad or that I'm doing something wrong, terribly wrong. Because now I can't vape on my ego-C without getting a proper hit as it feels clogged or it leaks. I've tried some cleaning tutorials and dry burn but the wick never turns red. And I opened one of the atomizers and the wick isn't held by a metal thing/hat as I've seen in tutorials. So I'm about to throw the elips and ego against the wall out of frustration because I've been trying all day to fix this. I would smoke a pack right now if I didn't have such a bad cold. Sorry for the rant but I'm so so so very frustrated and don't know what to do. Vapping gods save me!

i think one of the culprits might also be the liquid, i have less of an issue when vapping prime 15 and way more leaking with midnight apple which are both by halo. doesn't make too much sense though since i have tried using the same exact tank and atomizer with each liquid and i'm having such a huuuuuuge difference in terms of leaking ><

I have not had a leaking issue with the ego c and its all I use. I KNOW people who have the leaking problem with the C and we cant seam to find the problem and we make our living troubleshooting machines .It drives them straight back to the real cigs. My bud told me he used it for hours without a problem then "Ken it was like someone flushed a toilet, there was juice everywhere" I am sticking with the C but regretting recommending them to newbies.I know how flustering leaks can be.The old T system leaked like crazy. I ordered a few stardust cartos, they say there leak proof but want to try them before I recommend them.
For the burnt taste I get that too but most times the cap on the tank is not placed on all the way. I use the optional soft gel caps and sometimes you have to push them down alittle more to stop the burnt taste.

One of the reason of leaking i think if you draw too hard. Try not to draw too hard, and see whether it is still leaking or not

That's not it. Drawing to hard causes the atty to flood and the unused juice makes its way into the inhaling chamber of the tank. We C users find that out early and adjust. When we talk of leaking we mean without warning it leaks in to the battery compartment and outside the tube and on our hands or in our pockets. Its quite a mess when this happens.

I completely understand. I was able to deal with the leaks BC i WANTED OFF THE CIGS. A coworker of mine made it 3 weeks and the leaking started and I know the frustration she had and did not fault her for going back to the reds. Why they leak is still unknown to us and beleave me we tried to figure it out. The problem is not on the user end My girl, bless her heart, had the T leak on her but she stuck it out and vaped with a tissue wrapped around it. Not asking anyone to put up with that she just could not afford cigs anymore.
With your post and experiences from others I started to use the ego stardust carto but its only been a few hours so cant say it dose not leak. The taste and TH are almost the same but its leaking were both worried about. will let you know how it goes.

so i've been dry burning and cleaning my ego C atties once a day and it has helped alot, especially with the leaking. gunk builds up really fast on the atties, i use halo juice. perhaps their pg level is too high. i'm going to try dry burn my elips atties but i can't figure how to the remove the wick plate on it yet. i'll keep you guys posted.

i'm getting some stardusts. let's hope this salvages my ego C. my elips has been working a little better as long as i clean the moisture build up every couple drags, which such a pain.

Stardusts are the only thing I use on my ego's. They go to work with me everyday :)

People around me seam to love the stardusts. I bought 5 and handed out 3. I liked it too until the 3ed day of use. Now I have only used one to see how long they last and if they leak.
I wanted to like them but I get more raw ejuice taste in my mouth than the attys. The TH and vapor seam to diminish in a day even when I crank up the voltage. My girl disagrees and says there better than the tanks but I'm unimpressed. Sure there's a chance I got a bad one but its slim.
I'm sticking with the attys for now until I hear from others on ECF. I know its easy to say since my C attys have never leaked
