Heading out in the morning for about a 12 hour flight down to Lima. Have packed my PCC, 4 charged batteries, 3 attys, 4 empty carts and 4 of my favorite vapes. Also have packed 3 different chargers to make sure I don't run into any problems. Will be down there for a week so wanted to make sure I had plenty to go around.

Plan on vaping on the plane too as I'll be in a semi-private business class seat so should be able to vape pretty much through the flight, albeit discreetly :vapor: Last time through TSA locally I didn't have any issues so expect the same treatment this time around.

See ya'll in a week and don't burn down the farm while I'm away :p

Made it through from SLC to Peru without any issues at all. TSA did give my baggie of 510 accessories and juices a second look but didn't question me on it (she probably wanted my juices for herself:) )

Started out vaping in the bathroom with just small puffs but as the flight was mostly at night and the business class section was half empty, I had nobody next to me or who could even see me. So once they turned the lights off and the sun was down I sat at my seat watching a movie and stealth vaping most of the flight. Easiest 12 hour trip I've ever taken!

Yep, makes long hauls a pleasure again. I assume you flew DL SLC > ATL > LIM, almost went last year.

Yea PTJD that's the flight! I almost vaped in Atlanta during my layover as their announcements over the PA system stated no using lighted tobacco products but made no mention of e-cigs. I wasn't sure what the smoking law/clean air act in Atlanta was so I didn't push my luck. I just stayed out of the smoking lounges and just spent a little extra time in the loo :)

As a side note though, There is an outdoor shopping mall across from my hotel built into the cliffs by the ocean. In walking around there last night, found a tobacco shop that advertised e-cigs. Didn't go in there as I was hungry for dinner and forgot after a few cocktails. Will make an attempt to go in there before I leave and check out their wares and pricing....

just a thought. does Peru support the regular outlet , to plug in your chargers to charge your batteries ?.. it would be a bummer if you get down there and there is no way to charge them.

Yea they have the normal plugs like we have but just in case, I brought a converter and power strip so I had ample room for battery chargers, laptops, MP3 charger, etc....nice to find that the room already had it all though!

Just back from Peru and happy to say had zero problems during any security check or flight. TSA did take a double look at my 501's a bit but beyond that, not even a question. Had both of my long flights at night with low occupancy in business class so was able to stealth vape (mostly under the blanket).

Also found the e-Health cigs for sale down in Peru. Not sure the costs but they had lots of banners up for them. Didn't see anyone using them though but also didn't see many smokers there either.
