I was stuck in the DMV with a dead battery, so I squirted a good amount right into my mouth. Very unpleasant but not health-counsious way, it just tasted nasty as heck and I had to rinse my mouth out like 15 times. It was medium strength menthol liquid. Dumb idea I know, but it worked.

Yeah apart from the horrible taste and possible effects of the juice on the skin in your mouth it did the trick, it's just another method of delivery

I've been toying with the idea of getting a perfume atomizer for emergencies - ought to work as well as those minty Breath Freshener sprays anyway.
I think a mist would probably be a lot more palatable than a squirt from a dropper bottle :)

I've been wondering about something before, and now again... not to put off the risks and the need to keep it safe; but all e-liquid, however nice and tasty when you vape it, is horrible to get into your mouth... would a child really just swallow it down then? I would think they would go YUCK and spit it out as fast as they can (again, not saying you shouldn't keep that possibility even from happening... just I wonder if the hazard isn't made more scary then it actualy is.. I know for instance that my pets won't touch the liquid itself either... Happened twice, stupid me, that the dogs got hold of an e-device from a table - and chewed it to pieces... cart was left totaly untouched though even though it fell out or was pulled out). Would a young child react so much different? (Again, not that the chance should be there!)

I'd like to hope they wouldn't find it palatable, and yet kids do end up drinking bleach, paraquat, you name it, if it's left lying around. And I don't suppose those taste great either.

It's prolly to do with how much they drink before they realise it tastes like **** hehe.

As for the taste i have quite a few different liquids now but one of them, my favourite juice does not taste that bad at all lol.... me loves the taste and i do not mind getting it in my mouth lol.

Of course that's a tiny amount from the cart, it may not taste as nice if i made an effort to actually drip some in my mouth of which i have no intention of testing lol.

just taste-tested my Marlboro - hmm, sorta peppery! Not unpleasant, but would probably not greatly appeal to kids (and anything more than 1 drop would be pretty hot I think!)
Most of the liqueur essences I use for flavouring are absolutely disgusting neat - the violet is like some kind of toilet frangrancer at 35:1 concentration with no sweetness at all (but it's delicious as a liqueur or vaped.) Imagine sucking a floral rim block, and you've got a pretty good idea :)

Mmmmm sounds tasty??? lol The one thing i have learnt in all of this is that one mans rim block is another mans fave vape hehe.

By the way are you talking about TW Marlboro? I just got some 36 TW Marlboro, did not love it at first but it's deff a grower on me. I have found other liquids like that, and some taste lovely to start with but quickly become sickly hehe.

No, I haven't tried theirs yet - it was the Janty 18mg. A nice, fairly light, slightly sweet juice, but I've mostly been using it for mixing (the French Pipe's nicer for smoking neat.)

Ahh ok, for me the TW i find not sweet at all, im sure it would to a non-smoker be quite nasty actually, to a smoker it's very nice hehe. For me it's the closest i have got to an analog.

Maybe this will make sure i continue to like the analogy taste in case the worst ever happens to e-cigs lol.

It's a great vape for a real smoker imo.

Cheers Lee.

Why do I do it? I was getting so sick of this TW cigar (actually I more and more think they mislabelled a bottle of lemon flavour - it has such a vile citrus odour,) so I tried one last time to go back to my analog pipe.
You want a toilet cleaner taste, try Gawith & Hoggarth Curly Cut in a freshly cleaned pipe. I can't believe I used to like this stuff - thin vapour, horrid stench of ammonia, and surprisingly not even much of a nicotine buzz (perhaps I was just no longer able to tolerate it for long enough.)
I'm definitely boiling the rest of my stock down for homebrew juice!

The TW Marlboro sounds good, so I must try it sometime - just hope it's properly labelled (and hope even more that my Eastmall juice arrives tomorrow!)

Hey mate, if you want something with loads of flavour have you used any of the e-cigs cigar?

Where's that from? Sounds good (and 24mg is tolerable.) I've been thinking of getting some of those disposable Ruyan cigars - the video reviews look promising. Then again, I've got half a litre of juice on the way, so my problems will soon be over :)

You could have just pointed out that I had a ml/mg type-o. There was nothing wrong, other than that. And you went all ape $#!+ on me. (It was 30mg and 5mg) as the FDA stated, not as I stated. Being lethal to one potential person is not death to all.

The significance of 24mg in the patch, is because patches fail, and when they do, you get all 24mg in one dose. If you cut the package, you get that same dose. You don't need a prescription, so 24mg of accidental dose, is safe in the FDA eyes, as they approved the dose, for use without a prescription. Up to 40mg can be purchased OTC.

If 40mg was absolutely lethal, it would never be allowed for unsupervised use, and would require multiple patches, so that no single patch could fail, and lead to death. One would fail, containing only half that, and you would know it failed, and not apply the second patch... if you were smart.

That would also make packs of cigarettes and cartons, required to have a poison label, and kept in child-proof packages, and only be allowed for prescription use by a doctor. That would also make it illegal for 16-year-olds to work on a tobacco farm, which it is not. Since they are handling lethal doses of tobacco/poison. (We handled thousands of leaves a day, there is barely one leaf in a cigarette.)

You are confusing things that "I say", with things the "FDA says", with things that "Medical studies say".

A 1ml cartridge does not hold 1ml. It holds around half that volume. Wadding, (The correct wadding), consumes 50% of that 1ml space. If you have 1ml in the cartridge, than you have a 2ml cartridge, not a 1ml cartridge. I specifically said that I was talking about the 1ml cartridge, which holds 0.5ml of fluid, which would have to be sucked-out, in order to actually get all of the 0.5ml of fluid.

You are right, there are no certified mixers in the USA, there are also no certified mixers in any other country, that I know of. There are plenty of mixers here who know how to reduce junk tobacco into a tincture, and further reduce it into salts for mixing by the gram weight. (Most are stoners, thus, the liquids being sold in head-shops.)

It is great for mixing your own full-strength flavors, but I doubt it is healthy to possess. Without standards, and certification, there is nothing that says the liquids purchased are what they are labeled as. Reading the story of one bottle tested over 200mg per ml. Someone forgot to add the VG or PG!

I still stand behind what I said.

If anyone were to die from what I said, it would have nothing to do with me. I never claimed to be a doctor, I never gave instruction, and acting on any information that is in a public forum without consulting a qualified individual on the matter, is an act of neglect on the person who is following advice without adequate knowledge. If I were publishing it as a marketing pitch, or a scientific research paper, or an instructional... then you could claim that I would get someone killed.

That is like blaming "Ford", because they said most 45mph car crashes don't result in death, so you purposely drive 45mph into a wall and become crippled for life. (Well they did say you possibly wouldn't die, but they never said the ones who didn't die, were crippled for life!)

I said to watch how you drive... you are not guaranteed to die from driving 45mph into a wall, but if you want to know all the other possible things that happen after drinking 1.5ml of fluid from 3x 1ml containers which contain 50% wadding, or 81mg... If you don't die, you may have any combination of/or/and neurological damage, heart-attack, stroke, ........, vomiting, dizziness, tingling sensations, blindness, epilepsy, perspiration, high blood pressure, difficulty walking, constipation, throat soreness, upset stomach, thinned blood, liver damage, discolored skin, dilated pupils, dry mouth, excessive mucus, tightening of the throat... etc... Or nothing detectable may happen.

Oh, and I have yet to see the warning that I "will" die if I shower with my 200mg of cigarettes in my pocket. Or sit on a wet park-bench, or puddle, or sleep in a flooded tent, or get pushed in a pool... I also don't see the WHO or FDA or HazMat crews called when tons of leaves lay rotting next to a pond or well, or are thrown away in land-fills. That is billions of mg just sitting there, for anyone to fall into, and instantly die. Heck, the ashtrays at McDonalds have lethal doses of nicotine piled in there. Where is the sign indicating the instructions that say... "Do not lick the ashtray, or eat/drink the ashtrays contents. There are lethal doses that are 800 times what the FDA says is lethal inside this container."

Ok, partial rant done... Glad you took the time to question what I said, I will try to edit the post which had the type-o, but the rest will remain. Seeing conflict should instill enough doubt to warrant further research. They should not feel comfortable reading what I, or you wrote. Or the FDA for that matter.

EDIT: Apparently I can not edit after a certain time. That is the forums fault, not mine. The forum now owns my uncorrectable information and all blood is washed of my hands. It is up to the forum to correct the info, or allow me to correct it, or leave it as they continue to publish it. My correction stands edited in this post, which is all I am obligated to do.

Sorry if I sounded a bit heavy, but I'm just waiting for the first shock-horror scare story to blow up in the Press where some drunken eejit bets his mate he can't drink a whole bottle of nicjuice ("must be okay dude, nicotine's not really that poisonous, it says so on the Net. Go on, see if it gives you a buzz...") Let's face it - there's no shortage of dumb people in the world.
And when it happens, the anti-smoking fascists will be all over forums like this, just looking for quotes they can use to argue for a ban (Look at these irresponsible vapers, they can't be trusted with poisons, we've got to regulate these lethal devices out of existence, blah blah, etc. etc.)

30ml of 36mg is "death to all" if you drink it - the decimal points make all the difference!
No, I don't think you can edit posts after a few hours. Anyway, for the benefit of any anti-smoking control freaks who stumble across this thread at some point in the future, we've clearly determined that it is NOT safe to drink spoonfuls or bottlefuls at a time.

since i have been using the joye510 and the janty dura-c i have never gotten juice in my mouth from vaping, even when the cart is over saturated. also i think its funny that people who have been wearing deodorant, eating twinkies and snack cakes, who have put literally liters of propylene gylcol into their bodies every year since birth are now suddenly concerned with a few drops getting on their hands and mouth, lol. If you eat one twinkie you're putting more PG in your body than you are in a month of getting stuff in your mouth from vaping. Pretty much anything that is pre-packaged and "moist" will more than likely contain PG. As far as the nicotine goes, the amount thats in the fluid in a few drops, even in 36 mg fluid is negligible.

What's even funnier to me are the people who have smoked for years who are considering going back to smoking because they're scared of the possible effects of vaping. lol. To them I say.... do this... research what burning tobacco will do to your body, then research what PG vapor will do to your body. It's a no brainer. Vaping is definetly THOUSANDS of times safer for you than smoking. Vaping is also THOUSANDS of times SAFER than just being in a room with a smoker and inhaling the second hand smoke.
