take that want to be protank back where you got it and throw it at who ever sold it to you lol

It's a longer drive to New Jersey than that's worth! LOL....

I got offered a "partial" ($5.00) refund. Sorry, for a counterfeit product that didn't even survive a day, that's just unacceptable. (Edited out vendor name above since they did finally agree to a full refund. Apparently honoring my request to just ship the item I paid for was too much trouble for them... Still won't be doing business with this vendor, and not happy about them selling knockoffs, and then arguing to justify it when they get called on it, but think I'll self-impose a "cooling off period" before I decide whether and what to post about them.)

Unfortunately there are going to be a lot of shady vendors that are going to help in screwing things up for legit vendors. The shady a$$es are going to help justify strict FDA regulation.

Yay a new word "precipitates" I like it.

Sorry i just have this thing for unusual words, carry on.

You failed high school chemistry, didn't you? ;)

Precipitation is a process in which a solid is formed in solution during a chemical reaction that occurs in liquid, such as the mixing of an acid and a base. The solid substance is called precipitate (pronounced pre-sip-i-tet). Depending on the chemicals involved, the precipitate can be as harmless as table salt or as toxic as Dihydrogen Monoxide.

And no, I wouldn't vape anything with precipitates in it, salty or otherwise.

Yep, exactly.

Initially, I wasn't too upset, assumed this was an honest vendor that unknowingly ended up with some knock-offs from a less honest upstream supplier. I know of several situations where that's happened.

Not the case here. The justification was "Yes, these are plastic tanks, not the glass ones. We don't use the word glass in our description".

Well, they don't use the word "plastic" either, and I think the Kanger Protank is well enough known at this point that most reasonable people assume that an item being sold as a Protank, that looks like a Protank, will be a glass tank.

Telling me that your description is "technically not a lie" doesn't make me want to believe you when you tell me you are "nothing but an honest person".
