Just after I got my silver dse801 I caught myself trying to "smoke" my pen (which is silver). Needless to say, I've replaced my pen.....

OK, I had the reverse experience. Needed a pen, grabbed my 510 and tried to write with it.

when I first got my 2 510's my wife was holding one in her hand (manual batteries) when she tried to help my daughter up from a stumble. My daughter saw the blue LED touching her and FREAKED out like she was on fire, it was PRICELESS

Here's another tip which should be obvious. Don't make video's while you're driving.
