Hello all I was a lurker before I became a member. I have been vaping for only a few days. No more analogs. I used to smoke Marlboro menthol ultra lights.
I have the chrome 901. We purchased some menthol liquid in "High" which the seller told us it was 16 strength.
I think I may be getting sick from to much nicotine? It seems I have heartburn all the time. Like something is heavy in my throat. I used to smoke maybe 10 cigs a day. Depending on the day.
I also thought of cutting my liquid with some VG. Not sure of the ratio. But can you mix PG with VG and no bad effects?
Also, the prefilled flat tip cartridges: are these supossed to be equivelent to 15-20 cigs? That's what our supplier told us. I often find I am dripping a few drops in the filter every day.
Please help, the heartburn is very uncomfortable. I also find that I "belch" more. Like there is more air in my stomach or something. Manly burps from a chick...Gross!

I have been getting heartburn as well. Vaping for a month now. I am switching to VG to see if that is the deal. Headaches also.. It maybe too much nic. I tried to figure out how much nic I was use to from the analogs and am trying to match that in the ejuice. Lots of assumptions because I have no idea how much the body is really absorbing. You can mix VG and PG.

heartburn and belching might be from nicotine ingestion. just like i would get if i swallowed tobacco juice when i chewed. lower your nic level since you smoked ultra lights, and try lighter hits with french inhale. and keep hydration levels up, both vg and pg can dry you out depending on how sensitive you are to these chemicals. the heavy feeling in the throat is similar to when i chewed tobacco and can be worse if you are getting too much nic. 16 mg strength is closer to a regular cig than an ultra-light-you should be using 8 or 4 ml carts. good luck, hope this helps

Pretty new user here, but my 2 cents worth:
A lot of the SEs noted in here are the same as those that I've experienced from either withdrawal or too much nicotine when I was using or trying to quit cigarettes. When I accidentally smoked without remembering that I was wearing a patch I had ghastly symptoms, including really nasty heartburn, belching and a rather panicky feeling of constricted throat. No ingestion there, but just the patches in too-high strength could do me in, too.
I'm also guessing that you're either using too high a strength of juice, or, like I did one night with my new ecig, vaping like an absolute fiend - anyway, sort of like smoking yourself sick with cigarettes. (BTW, I smoked 2 plus packs of Marlboro lights for many years and am just right vaping freely at 18 ml; strength seems to be an idiosyncratic thing from what I read in here. I think I usually inhaled and still inhale rather briefly and lightly.)

Except for that one night, I've had zero SEs - I hydrate massively and think that that might be the most important thing. I live to vape, and I live to pee. It's all good.

I have also had some heartburn - I think it is from swallowing vapor. I had the worst stomach on the planet for many years and was Tums' best customer. I started taking probiotics about 6 years ago, and they have helped immensely. I can't even imagine what my heartburn would be like without them. I get mine here:
