well being a streetracer that sounds awesome :D and thats my biggest problem using chuff tips. i HATE spitback. is there a cheap or homemade solution to that since you brought it up?
I believe racing stripes would help.

:D

Spit back is usually caused by using wire that is too thick or art coils that hold liquid away from the heating wires. The vapor that is trying to get out from under the wire has to push liquid out of its way.

FASTTECH only a couple of bucks each or you can get a five pack for about 10 bucks

they also come in many colors
you can stack them if you want some extra height

another tip is if you push realy hard and remove the copper center pin you can put a screw though it and screw it to a block of wood for a cheap atty building stand

Fraid to tell you, but those can be dangerous. I got a couple from FT, one is OK and snug, but the other one the center pin is so loos it fell out when taking it out of the package. I was able to fix that by putting a few dings in it with side cutters, but to the novice, it could fall out and short a battery if everything worked against you. There is no top to them keeping the center pin in the insulator, so you need to know how to fix it or tweak it if you get one that is lose. This is why I will only recommend the Kepler, it wont fall out.
