I accidentally left a glass dropper bottle of a minty/menthol mix in the car the other day, and for once it was actually warm and summer-like (haven't had much of that here this year); the car and bottle were quite hot..and I noticed the liquid had changed color dramatically toward amber from clear/greenish color it had been. Wouldn't you know, it tasted really nice, sweeter and smooth. It was a real mix-up..vendor liquid, capella, loranns, and vg..my usual menthol-mint mash-up! Am I on to something? Anyone done this?

Good observation. Most ingredients used are "time dated" due to degradation. Its also recommended that they be stored in a dark cool dry area.
Was the bottle clear, translucent or amber? Was it in direct sunlight? You have 4 possibilities for cause. UV, heat, combination of the specific ingredients or all. Cars can easily reach 110-120*F in sunlight.

You might do a little testing. Try warming a small portion of the same mix for the same time period in an oven. Loosen the lid or replace it with cotton to be safe. Check it each hour. My 1st guess is heat. If the bottle was amber, I doubt sunlight did it. If you have a grow light and heat alone didnt do it........keep cool and expose.
If all fails set it in a sunny window.

I wouldn't try to store large amounts of it (altered color) for a long period of time, but if you enjoy the flavor change I wouldn't be afraid to vape it for a month. Just store it in the fridge taking what you need daily in your carry bottle if you can repeat your find.

Just some thoughts and enjoy your flavor!
