I was browsing eBay and found a 510 heatsink. Anyone tried them? Do they work to keep things cooler?
Sounds like a gimmick if you ask me. The entire tank/mod is essentially a heat sink... dont know what if any benefit you would gain.... got a link? i am curious to see it and figure out just what they are trying to do.

I use heatsinks as a *thread saver* for my mod. Since I use bottom fill tanks, I'm removing/replacing the tank often thus causing more wear to the threads. When the heatsink threads start to wear, I'll toss it and put another on. I also have many spare STM bases. ;)

Not sure about keeping things Cooler? Because what I used them on (RTA's) don't get very Hot.

But they do work Great in a SxS Mod when using a Short RTA.

Tried them ... Yes they help but only as much as they can. If the problem is severe you're probably going to have to look for another solution. If it's not severe it might make enough difference to really help.

The base of the tank also transfers heat and I have found that some tanks when chain vaping tend to get a bit on the warmer side. The heat sink does keep the heat from transferring to the MOD and the increase is surface area allows for it to dissipate faster.

I don't see why things getting warm is an issue in the first place. Use a delrin drip tip - sorted.
My mod gets hot too. Not just warm. Batteries explode or at the very least lose potency if they get hot. Also I can't find a tip yet they fits. The only one they had was metal.
