Once you try LR's you wont go back! At least I didn't, rock'n a brand new LR right now, just picked up my package from the PO. Hardware only order... The LR 306 is pretty good too, I ordered the shorty drip tip and it's nice and stealthy! The thing I've noticed with LR's is once their a few weeks broken in they hit like a reg res atty anyhow. At least thats how I remember a my original RR's from 9 months ago. Haven't had a LR completely die in quite a while (just blow out to clean) ISO bath before I put the old ones on the shelf for backups.

Hehe... 901LR are too strong on screwdriver. Got overdosed 2 evenings in a row. But it produces less vapor then 510, or it might be thinner or smth. IOWN, try dry burning them and then inplace boil in hydrogen peroxide. It cleans the coil and wick rather nicely. My month old 510 is vaping like new with regular maintenance.

Sorry to the OP on this thread lol. He hasn't been back here anyhow. Yeah so we all know you can't order more than $100 of stuff at a time that sux, but it fits my budget for now.

I was worried about hydrogen peroxide and boiling but apparently it's been done for quite some time on pots and pans to remove burnt sugar stains. Still not sure if it'll leaves a residue that could be harmful to us, probably, but more cleaning and rinsing with ISO will take care of that. Dry burn to me means, popped atty and other dangers... I'd try the boiling HP bath on old attys though. Thanks for the tip!

Hydrogen peroxide decomposes into water and oxygen gas. The only danger i could see if HP solution has other components not listed in it that might be toxic. I just wash my atty really good after boiling and then dry and reprime.

From Wikipedia :

Availability

Due to its high alcohol content, Everclear is illegal, unavailable, or difficult to find in many areas. In Canada, Everclear is sold in the province of Alberta, but not in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and most other provinces.[citation needed] In British Columbia, it is available for purchase with a permit for medical use, research use, or industrial use only.

Sounds like a call to my cousin in Alberta is in order.

I hope it gets through...let us know? For next time, you can get VG at drug stores...look for "Glycerine USP" in the skin care or first aid section.

I got my order today completely intact. One question though, one of my 510 attys seems to be DOA is there any DIY fixes I can try so I don't have to do a return?
