Gosh, who knows. If you steep with the top off, I'd imagine any alcohols, water, and whatnot do evaporate to an extent. I was surprised at how much of a difference to my vape adding 10%ish H20 made (I have to use max VG, as I'm sensitive to PG) as far as cloudiness. Maybe it was a less dense cloud, but it's a far easier vape with more clouds. There is a certain amount of water in with the ingredients.

So, that would be my best guess, but honestly, who knows, some things about ejuice just seem very mysterious to me...

I use a battery operated stirrer so its mixed very well. What ever is in the VG that makes cloud density maybe its getting broke down a little as time goes on.
All I know is I can make a 120ml batch, immediately vape it and get a very dense fuller cloud. Towards the end of the batch, which last about 3 wks, it is not as full/dense.
Its no big deal I was just wondering if it does this to anyone else.

I can't say I've noticed it but I was using max VG before, and now I'm adding in water since I can't use PG, but it IS keeping temps in my vape down. I was surprised that I liked it, but I really do. It's an easier, airier vape, but the flavor is better. I will be keeping an eye out though, and also making sure my lids stay on pretty tightly (the e-juice I've done that to is pre-steeped, so no worries there). I also don't usually make batches more than 55 ml at the moment, though I'm sure once I discover some favorites I will be making more-- maybe. Because I only go through about 5 ml per day.

This is what my question is about. If you don't vape right after making a batch, you can't compare it to a 1-2 week steeped juice. You have to vape right after making it to determine if there's more cloud when made compared to vaping after its steeps a week or 2.

I don't add water but adding H2O would reduce the cloud I would say, deluting the VG.

On Fruit flavors I only leave the lid off a couple hours so nothing is evaporating. Now tobacco flavors I leave lid off 12-24 hrs and steep them a couple weeks for a good flavor, I don't vape tobacco flavors right away.

If its mixed well it will stay mixed for a long time due to the thickness of the liquid.

Relative Humidity enters into the equation. If it's dryer in the house, the vapor gets absorbed into the air quickly as opposed to high humidity where the air just can't absorb that much more and the vapor just hangs there.

It's 42F here and the heat has been running off and on through the night. I've been noticing the weaker vapor cloud from my 60pg/40vg juice.
