Information overload yet? LOL I see you are in Ohio, if you can, find a local store and look at the stuff. Also, you can spend several hundred dollars on an APV that works wonderful, and vape juice that makes it all worth it. Do research, find a juice that you like. If the juice is poor, no amount of money can make it taste any better.

Anything lower than my $300/month cigarette bill.

THAT Doowod is a VERY good attitude regarding all this stuff.

My father has advanced emphysema and has a VERY hard time just walking from his car to the Little League ball diamonds to watch his Grandchildren play ball.

I can only imagine how much money he now wishes he would have spent to QUIT smoking years ago BEFORE he developed this debilitating progressive illness.

Don't give up and spend whatever it takes to beat smoking, you will NOT be sorry, besides you are better off owning 3 new devices a Month than you are simply spending that 300 bucks on smokes. At least you will have SOMETHING to show for your money each Month instead of ashtray after ashtray of cigarette butts.

Even if/when you decide to buy an APV (Provari, Lavatube or whatever), the KGO will make a great backup system that is very pocket friendly, so the $45 on a KGO kit is not wasted by any means. I've got the KGO and I'll use it as a backup and a travel PV when I upgrade to an APV.

I predict you'll like the KGO a lot.

I don't want to start another debate, just putting this out there: the eGo Twist is not a cheap way to give VV a try. It's not cheap, and it's not really a fully fledged VV device. It's a semi-disposable, or as I call them ultimately disposable device. If you already have a working setup and want to try out this new toy, go for it by all means. If you want a regulated, adjustable vape and you really can't get yourself to go for a little larger form factor... sure, although the Twist is quite big for an eGo. Anyway, it works, within it's limits, but understand it's not a cost effective option. That's all, now back to the our original programming.

Your right on. Hard to go wrong with kgo or ego. Ego is all I need ... I thought I would want a lavatube etc but the ego is plenty for me. Instead I now want a smaller ecig for discreet public use.

Again, just to keep things tidy: there is a new eGo version - they are called "upgraded" - that can be switched to an unregulated mode that effectively makes them work like a KGO. The regular eGo has a lower voltage that seems to be insufficient for a lot of vapers here - and I mean new vapers, not only mod junkies. Also two 1100 mAh KGOs batteries are close to everything you need as a primary PV, while the 650 mAh eGo is barely cutting it or not cutting it. Just want to keep that clear.

Again, the only eGo that works like a KGO is the ~1000 mAh "upgraded" version. The most common eGo that you find around the web is inferior to the KGO. I am not going out of my way to bash the eGo, but rather to make sure you understand what you get when you click that order button.
