I haven't tried the trident but I've got a helios supposed to be 1:1 clone and I haven't been able to use it for like a month just after a few builds one of the positive screws hole completely stripped out and I tried putting I bit bigger screw in there but it never fit right so beware of the ones with Phillips screws I think the one sourking has the screws would hold up better

I vote for the Trident v2. Hands down best rda I've owned. Easy to build, great air flow control, and the holes are up a decent height so you don't have over drip spills hardly. My favorite rda is an omega v2, but it's not easy to build on at all. I don't recommend it until someone has got the hang of rda's down very well. Here is a picture of the trident base, look hoe easy that is to build on. You just lay the coils down, trim get em ready and then screw the cover on...EASY

Another option that doesn't get talked about a lot is the Brass Monkee. It sets up like the Helios, because of the double positive connections. Comes with two top caps, brass and polished ss. The ss cap has afc; the brass one has fixed holes. American made. I have several RDAs, but the Brass Monkee is one of my favorites.
