Hello 16 type batteries all failed

I started vaping with the purchase of rebranded Hello 16 type starter kit in mid-April 2011. It came with two batteries, two cone atty's, charger and proprietary tank mouthpieces. I bought another kit about two weeks later. This week all the batteries (mid-June) failed. One came off the charger with the circuit board and button burned up and melted. The next just failed to light up anymore, seems to just be dead and won't do anything on the charger. A third really got me. I was vaping when the atty just died. I got a new one out of the package, installed it, put in the drip tip and set it on a table. When I came back to drip and vape it, the melted drip tip was lying on the table, the battery button had melted and fallen back in the case, and I found the new atty had burned out. Today I was vaping one when the LED flashed the battery was down. I put it on the charge until it turned green. Now when I push the button the LED flashes three times and doesn't heat the atty.

Is this bad luck or are their problems with this device. How you doin'.

Wonder if your charger isn't contributing to the problem.

Can't say for sure, but both chargers from the 2 kits are putting out 4.18 volts. These sets no longer appear on the website. They were adv as Hello 16 compatible. The batteries are 1300mah with a rubbery white shield button -O- and 510 connector on top which have no air passages. I've used the proprietary cones and other 510 attys too by backing them out a little for airflow.

Never heard of the name. Where did you order these from? Since they are manual batteries - no auto battery issue - I'm kinda scared that they are cheap/dangerous batteries they way almost all of them passed on.
