I'm just about to test one of these out. Has anyone else used one? I read a review saying the battery was 3.7 volts. Shouldn't this work great with a duracell instant charger? Duracell Instant Charger | Portable USB Charger for Cell Phones, iPhones, iPods, and More

So far I like this passthrough. The mini usb port on the end of the battery adds less than half of an inch to the length. The button glows blue and flashes when the battery is low. The battery continues to run for about a half of a second after I release the button.

Sweet, I might have to pick one of those up. I don't currently own a PT and I had my eyes on that one. Especially because I own a Volcano Kit adding a 510 battery to the mix in PT form seems like a good idea.

I have some various cartos that I'm not using very often lately. Because I'm usually at home I've just started dipping with L88B or dripping carefully onto the bridge.

I'll have to keep an eye on this thread. If anybody else has this please let us know too! Thanks!

I have had one since they first came out about 3.25 months ago. What I have found is that, everytime after charging (on mine anyways), it would appear to not work on the first button press. Keep trying, hold the button down 5-10 secs until (with the atty on) the atty crackles. You might have to do this more than once, but it should start working again. Hope this helps.

Interesting info matey! Thanks for the tip! I've not bought one yet, but, I'm definitely considering it. Would be nice to have a 510 PT and Batt to go with my L88B stuff. Probably buy an atomizer too just so I can test out the old 510.

Thanks for the tip but i tried this and it still didn't work. Completely dead battery. I'm sending it back for a replacement tomorrow. It's an electronic device so, .... happens. lol.

I just got this in the mail yesterday, i am using mine with a SLB LR atty and drip tip and i love it. a full charge on the bat got me just under 3 hours of use. i am a pretty heavy vaper too. this is not a true PT though. you are just charging the Bat while you are using it. you are always using the Bats power, never the cable. but it is still a great idea, and i love the 2 that I bought.

These Sit and Go passthroughs are impressive. Have two working fine. I especially like that I can plug into the A/C adapter (home or car), or use that Duracell portable charger, and vape while connected to both, and free up the computer's USB port I used with the old style passthroughs.

Haven't had any trouble with either of them in the month I've been using them. They can either be charged with the USB end, or with the usual battery charger (the atty end just screws in normally).

Has anyone tried to fit one in the mega PCC charger case? It appears that they would fit, but I haven't gotten the mega model yet.

Glad I found this thread. I got mine a week ago from Indy vapor shop. I thought that it was DOA, because the red light would only stay on for about ten seconds. Now a week later, as a last ditch effort before returning it, I've plugged it in. The red light has been on for about an hour and it's still going...so I'm pretty sure it's charging. Did not realize that it's not a true PT, that maybe why I thought it was DOA. So, after it's charged, does the red light change color? I haven't seen the blue light yet. How do you know when it's done? Should I hold the button down for 10 seconds?

Yay! Mine does work! I just didn't let it charge long enough! Mine is exactly like the Sit and Go, but this is the kit I got:

Model 510 Solar Charging Kit

I dig the fact that I can actually drive to this place. It's an hour away..but I think I'll go again, just because it's nice to be able to talk to someone face to face about this stuff.

I just got my Mega Sit and Go from MadVapes and had a similar issue with it not working (Should have read this thread first before starting a trouble ticket).

Mine also was not working after letting it charge to the point where the red light went out. So I decided that I'd see if it would take a charge through the atty end using the 510 USB charger I got with my original starter kit (Desan Model:USB-B Output: DC 4.2V 0.2A). Noticed it acted like the other 510s by flashing the blue button light and the Desan charger went red. After 15 minutes or so, the Desan charger went green, unscrewed the Mega, pressed the button and it worked!

Guess it needed a kick to get it going. Now it's been taking the charge through it's own USB port, and I'm getting a wonderful 4.0 volts out of it after full charge, making the 3.2 ohm attys vape wonderfully!

So if you get one that doesn't charge normally, try the atty-end charge first and see what happens.

Glad I found this and for your posts, Jurassica Parks and JRBlood.

I got mine, plugged the USB in, hooked up an LR atty to it in my excitement, pushed the button...and it flashed blue telling me the battery was low, of course. So, I waited about 10min and now the button light wouldn't go on. Waited another 10 min with the red usb end light still on (so supposedly charging) but nothing happens when the button is pushed. No blue light, no power to the atty.

I've got it hooked up to my eGo rapid charger right now from the atty end, and the blue button light did blink that it was charging...hope the "jump start" works :)

EDIT:

Completely forgot about this when I got home last night *sheepishface*

It Worked! :) Thank you JRBlood!!!

Glad to know this helped someone out. :) Sounds like you and I got ones from the same batch.

I found out tonight that if I drain mine to the point when it won't turn on, connect it to it's own USB port and let it charge, it again won't work until I "touch" it with the 510 charger (screw it in until the blue button flashes, then unscrew it right away). I had to do that just a few minutes ago.

I don't blame MadVapes at all for this, only the manufacture of the actual unit. Besides, I'm use to buggy stuff as I'm an IT Tech and deal with buggy software and hardware every day. :D

Looks like it! Thanks for the tip, I'll keep that in mind if the batt ever drains. I'm fine with it too :) It's a very little bug, and the unit otherwise rocks (and looks good doin' it).

its a pretty big bug if you ask me, especially if you kill it and don't have another charger with you, but oh well, I just bought one earlier today since my bartleby died. hopefully it can get the job done. stuck with 510 batteries now and i'm probably going to have to buy cigarettes.

Really? You are a salesman's dream come true.

Which means you may be vaping at about 3.4V tops.

It's fascinating how many hoops folks will jump through to get a product to work how it's supposed to.
