hey all, new to the forum here. I currently have 2 ego 1100mah with basic ce4 clearos. been vaping for about a month now, and finally ready to kick the analogs out of the house!

so my question is I am looking at the innokin itaste svd with some 18350 batteries, nitecore charger (mostlikely 4 port), and a kanger protank v2. sound like a good little setup? am I missing anything? I have been lurking this forum for the past couple of days, and think for the money the svd would be my best bet. I know eventually I would like to get the provari, but it is a little out of my price range right now.. I figure if I do good enough without the analogs I can talk the wifey into spoiling me with the big dog!

I myself am in the process of researching options for my first mod. I am perfectly happy with my current setups, but I do admit I love my Protank II and it's a tad clunky on my ego batteries. I'm thinking a vamo 4 might be a good option for me - cost is important to me as well. The thing I'm not crazy about with the a lot of the itaste mods is they are "boxy", but I'm not opposed to exploring them as an option. I'm interested in what others might have for insight on this topic as well.

This is a good set up depending on the battery you choose! Get good batteries. And may be back up for your tanks.....
That should do it.
I would go with good 18650 and not stack the 18350 tho.... not suggested...

Cheers.

thanks for the responses. I was actually looking at just using a single 18350 instead of stacking. I am looking for something a little smaller to carry around during the day. the svd I am looking at is available on fasttech for 37.xx and is telescoping, so I know if I am unhappy with the 18350 size I can certainly step up to the 18650 battery!

Sounds like a great setup, the Nitecore chargers are very nice, I have the i4. If you don't mind waiting for a week or so, Fasttech has some pretty good prices on the Nitecore and the SVD.

$37.21 INNOKIN iTaste SVD Telescoping Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Mod / Battery Compartment at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

You can also get AW or EFest batteries from RTD along with various good chargers. Amazon and Ebay also have the nitecore.

Efest makes a decent battery, not as well regarded as AW, but good.

tinkrrrbell, I haven't heard of the V4 Vamo yet, V3 is the latest version I am aware of. Vamo is a good APV, V2 did have some threading and finish issues, although mine has been a champ. Also the SVD is a telescoping tube mod, meaning it will adjust to fit 18350 through 18650, the MVP is a box, and the itaste VV/VW has flat sides.

Once again Fasttech has some great deals on the Vamo V3.

Protank II is a nice choice, truth is you will probably try many different toppers, best of luck to both of you. And you both have some good devices in mind.

definitely get the SVD over Vamo. Build quality is superb and also spring loaded center pin will eliminate future problems.
For charger Nitecore I2 or I4 and for battery forget AW or Efest, buy the amazing Panasonic IMR/ICR https://www.fasttech.com/products/1233700 this battery is fantastic.
Also from Fasttech get the GS-H2 Atomizer, uses same coil like Evod and ProTank but taste and vapor are amazing when used with Real Kanger coils.
IMHO you should get both 18350 and 18650 batteries .In my case a 18650 battery will last me the whole day and si vape a lot. I have some 18350 AW but they only give me maybe 3 hrs of service.

I think the v4 is not yet available yet in the US.. but I watched a review for it on youtube from I believe the UK... It looks like the v3 so maybe that would be fine but if it's coming soon here, I'd just wait. I've got enough stuff to get me by.... people seem to like the previous models.

I have the V2, and it has been very good to me, just giving you a heads up on what some others have reported. I'll have to google the V4.
