I just got my SVD, threw my protank on it and took a hit. No pull at all. I checked the ohm and it reads "NON". I twist the protank a little and then it reads "2.4" which is correct. I vape for a while then set the SVD down. When I pick it back up I get no pull and an ohm reading of "NON". For some reason my protank is not playing nice with my new SVD. All my other EVODs and CE4's work fine with it. I wonder if the protank and the SVD are not making a connection for some reason. Any idea what might be causing this to happen?

EDIT: I just threw the protank on my old iTaste and it works fine. Something with the connection of the SVD and the protank is causing this issue but I have no idea how to fix it.

Just a WAG... but it's possible that there is an issue with the 510 connector insulator. If it's soft and squishy, or damaged - allowing your center connector to get "angular"... you can replace it without de-soldering/soldering.
A bit of glycerine (or juice for that matter) for lube will allow you to squeeze the connector through a new grommet.

Meh my Protanks are pretty finnicky on all of my mods. It is the 510 connection of the protank. One of the things I try is to tank the bottom off, taking the atomizer head out, and then screw it back in, making sure I screw that in tight. It usually fixes the problem.

If worse comes to worse, I just throw a 510-510 adapter on the particular mod I am hoping to work.

Where is the pin? Is the the contact post in the middle of the threading? How do I pull the pin down on the protank or up on the SVD? I don't want to break it!

EDIT: "head slap" - I should read everything before posting! The screw driver from my eye glasses set worked great. I just sort of pushed up in a circle to move the contact pin up ever so slightly...problem solved. Thanks all!

There ya' go... sometimes they just get pushed down, and don't pop back up all that well.
