Because I'd once again like to participate in these forums, it's time to begin anew with a New Members Forum introduction thread! There are already more than enough of these so I will try to keep it brief.
My name is Alexander, I'm 24 years old and live in Michigan. I started vaping way back in probably around late 2008-early 2009. A lot has changed since then, that is for sure (and for the better!) I used to post on here under the name of Whitewolf, but was always more of a lurker than a contributor. Back then I bought several of the generic, old-style, cartridge & atomizer style "minis," with the hopes of quitting my cigarette habit. I even placed a wholesale order from China and attempted selling them for a while. Being that PVs were all but completely unknown to my community back then, and the very limited quality and functionality of the devices....yeah total flop. They did, however, help me get over the hump and quit analogues. Unfortunately, after about 2-years and some rough times, I started up again. Abandoned my inadequate vapes and went back to the cancer sticks. In that time, vaping has obviously gone mainstream and lots of wonderful devices have hit the market.
Earlier this year, I finally decided that I needed to quit for life. Taste awful, smell horrid, and they're sure to kill me eventually. So I stopped by my local vapor shop, bought a couple of eGos and some juice and I've been vaping happily ever since! Since the day I bought my first proper PVs, I have not even once had the slightest desire to smoke. My girlfriend's (who I am currently trying to convert) Newports make me wanna yack. Vaping to me is no longer a massive hassle for a barely adequate to mediocre experience, I LOVE IT! Much fewer frustrations and I have a new hobby of sorts as well
I can only give my subjective experience, but I feel better everyday and having a background in healthcare and nursing, I am confident that what I'm doing is much less harmful to my health.
My collection now includes 2 ego VV 1100mAh, an ego twist, my recently acquired VAMO V2 and a couple others. Also several different styles of toppers. I'm going ga-ga for all the mods out there and am looking to expand my collection of devices to tinker and experiment with. I am interested in trying several of the other VV/VW mods out there and also some of the mechs.

Anyways, I am eager to learn and contribute and have already learned plenty lurking the forums here. I hope you'll welcome me into the fold!
