So after lurking for the past few days - since every question I've queried in Google has linked me to this site - I've decided to register.
It took me forever to decide on a brand of pv(I catch on quick =]) and I've finally settled on getting the eGo! From what I've gathered, the tornado, riva and eGo are more or less the same, but the eGo for some reason appealed to me. Originally, i wanted something similar to an analog, but with everyone's experience being better with a pen style i decided to ignore my "image" and forgo the 510(don't hate me I'm human). TBH i think it was all the rave reviews inre to cignot.com. Once, i had my pv settled on, i was sure i was going to instantly order an eGo from cignot.com

BUT, last minute research has led me to a possibly BETTER deal with greenhouseone.com

my thoughts:
- i am a broke college student, i cannot afford to make a mistake. My first purchase will hopefully be lasting me a LONG time.
- One important thing is that cignot.com seems to ship/arrive FAST. If I factor in how much i might smoke til my package from greehouseone.com than cignot has a clear edge.
- I take a lot of pride in the things i own, i like a balance of everything, from function to aesthetics to ergonomics and efficiency to effectiveness. With Cignot.com I have the option to customize my pv, i was planning on getting one black(auto) and one platinum(manual). I was also planning on asking them for a 3/2 split in cart shapes(round/whistle).
-greenhouseone.com has great prices, in fact if they weren't this good, i would not even consider them.

My first question as a noob would be
: which site would you order from? If neither, than which?
do i have overcustomizationitis? a case where the exact thing i want isnt really that big of a deal.

** as i was typing this, i have decided on cignot! but thought i'd share a bit of my experience so i left my original thoughts.
i realized i want my thing to be MY thing, and for some reason don't trust things coming from china directly. also the $15 shipping lessened the greatness of specifically the eGo deal . i had entered the calculate shipping info wrong and the whole time i thought there was simply free shipping since no extra cost came up for me. i'm probably gonna just get my e liquids from freedomsmokeusa since everyone also raves about it.
all in all after buying what i figured i needed, i would only suffer a loss in terms of eliquid, but a gain in overall satisfaction.

WISH ME LUCK - i really hope i made the right choice

Overcustomizationitis, maybe. Your choice of 2 different batt colors is probably good, especially if you end up with more than 2. As far as the cart style, they're disposable anyway but at least you'll know which type to order next time. Go get some polyfill and the 5 carts will last you a lot longer. Keep in mind that you won't find a juice that tastes exactly like your marlboro lights. In fact I've never found a juice that tastes exactly like smoke. But you'll get over it. Try an order of sample sizes from VaporBomb.com, they seem to include freebies in every order and the small bag of polyfill they give you goes a long way.

thanks! i just spent 20 minutes deciding between a nickel-plated drip tip or a black delrin one. -_-
settled on the plastic since, i was worried about that weird feeling of metal and teeth. my order officially just went through!

Does anyone have any opinions on what eliquid comes closest in taste to a marlboro light?

Really cant help you on the marlboro light. They tasted like air when i smoked i guess that's why i puffed reds or camel filters.

Welcome and yes the Ego is a good choice....Wife and I used Marbo Ultra Lights when we were analog users...
Now, she and I both like Karmel flavor tobacco...But, that is us...One thing you will find out fast here is that
everyone has their own "Sweet Flavor" or Tobacco taste...Being a college student, you might want to start
with the sample packs that different vendors offer...You get 4-6 different flavors in small bottles to help you
decide...That way you are not paying a lot at once, especially for a juice you might not like at all...
Take care and of course: Enjoy the Adventure...

Everything about your Ego order from Cignot sounded good except for that "Auto battery" part. I wouldn't recommend it they aren't that great and can be damaged/killed with overflowing liquid.

Yes - this is true. I went from auto to manual and am happier with the manual after having to return auto batteries to many times. Took a bit to figure out how to refill the cartos. I keep the old auto replacement for driving as it looks like an analog and probably will not encourage the cop next to me in traffic to pull me over for "smoking" something funny.
