Joye ego - Ooh Ya

Been a pack a day smoker for too many years. My daughter bought me one of those $49.95 specials you find at the convenience stores. I liked it, but couldn't get enough smoke out it, had to charge the battery every hour and was using it so hard that I was actually killing the battery after about a week - went through three warranty replacements then told "No More".

Luckily, I found this forum, did my research and heard a lot of good reviews of the ego. Ordered the kit from cignot.com, three extra atomizers and a set of the teabag carts. I ordered this at 4:15 pm pacific time and still received it in two days.

As for the ego, this unit is a jewel! I've only had it for a few hours now, but I'm betting my analog days are finally over....

Joye ego: A++
cignot.com: A++

Thanks to everyone on this forum

P.S. I think cignot is now offering two atomizers with the ego kit at the same price -> Good time to pick one up!

Same story here ... been a smoker for over 20 years.

~Lots of reading on these forums
~"Cignot"
~eGo with some vanilla coke juice

That was a few weeks ago. I have been completely cigarette free for 10 days now. I hate to say "never" but ...... I will never smoke another cigarette again. I am completely sold on the e-cig. Woot!

I feel the need to thank someone but not really sure who .... perhaps everyone here.

Yes, same here, started with an Janty Ego on Feb 11...just happens it was also my last day of analogs, from 1 and 1/2 packs a day....The Ego has not let me down.....Knock on Wood....All the batteries are still going strong and I love the ideal of using 510 attys (prefer LR attys) which one can pick up almost anywhere pretty cheap....More money to spend for juice....lol... Enjoy the Adventure...

I started with the 510 kit, but moved to the eGo last week. The battery life with the eGo is fantastic. I'm getting about 10 to 12 hours out of each charge vs. less than 2 hours with the original 510s. Plus all my stuff (carts, atomizers, cartomizers) all fit the eGo. Three weeks this coming Monday since my last analog. And I don't miss 'em a bit!

Hey so this is the Ego/Tornado fan page, i started on the tornado as well and have gone of analogs after about 2 weeks of use, it took me a while because i started with too low of mg, and after taking it up from 9mg, to around 25-29mg i havent smoked since, dont you just love the ego/tornado with LR attys, id say that out of all the PVs that are out, even the 5v 6v mods, the ego/tornado is the best device, just do to its battery life with a LR atty, the style of the device, and size, i also just got the new Joker 5v PV, and i like it but its too big and bulky, i perfer to travel with the ego/tornado with a LR atty,

The eGo is great. The price of entry is a little higher than I usually recommend for a first kit, but congrats to all of you who found it quickly. With about a dozen different models behind me, I wish I could have found the eGo first. Although I probably would have bought a dozen after it anyway!

My understanding is that the Ego is cart/atty compatible with my 510, but has its own high capacity carts, too? Sounds like a good product, but that means buying the starter kit all over again or waiting much longer for Ego batteries to charge on my 510 charger.

I'll probably order one later. For now, I'm happy with the 510. I seem to be topping off the cart once every hour or two and swapping batteries every couple of hours.

I love my eGo and all but I have to say a couple of design improvements could make it better. A better button for one. I have definitely shortened the life of a couple of atty's by accidental activation. Another would be a better PCB. I have had one battery protect a bad atty by blowing first. I took this battery apart and found the board fried black. Other than those issues, I think that the eGo is a decent device. Just be sure to have some spare batteries and atties and look into a case or something or carry it disassembled to prevent accidental depression of the button.

yup i shorted a battery out buy sticking a wire into the atty, (it was when i started vaping so i didnt know any better) and well dead batt,:( also with its sister battery the button will tend to stick, a few to many times on a LR atty, but that atty lived through all of those long burns, also on my new-er batt it seems that the center pin has gotten pushed down and doesnt make contact as well as it should, (seems to only work when it feels like it, not when i want it too)
