Hello all! I have a question about two atomizers.

Going to kickoff my first post with a query.

I'm thinking about getting a mod that comes with either a ce4 or riva-t and was wondering if someone could do me the favor of highlighting some of the differences and maybe sharing their experience with them. Much appreciated!

Hi, and welcome to the ECF.

I've used both, and I'd recommend the CE4. CE4s generally have a good track record, are easier to fill and empty, can be modified for better performance easily, and if you're handy, can be rebuilt.

The Riva-T that I tried performed poorly, and it was impossible to make any adjustments to it without cutting it apart with a dremel or something. I still have one that sits unused. Perhaps it would work better than the first, but I haven't bothered to try it. I figure that I'll mod it into a rebuildable some day, because it does look kind of cool.

Edit: I should point out that they both share the same wick-fed, top-coil, no-filler design, but the CE4 is a better design, IMO.

Rule of thumb and word to the wise: Don't get any PV with a "-T" suffix in the name.
