Hi, and welcome to the ECF.

I've used both, and I'd recommend the CE4. CE4s generally have a good track record, are easier to fill and empty, can be modified for better performance easily, and if you're handy, can be rebuilt.

The Riva-T that I tried performed poorly, and it was impossible to make any adjustments to it without cutting it apart with a dremel or something. I still have one that sits unused. Perhaps it would work better than the first, but I haven't bothered to try it. I figure that I'll mod it into a rebuildable some day, because it does look kind of cool.

Edit: I should point out that they both share the same wick-fed, top-coil, no-filler design, but the CE4 is a better design, IMO.
