Hello all...

New member here, Eric from the UK.

I've recently gave up the cigarettes, and have been on the E cigs for ten days and doing not too badly so far. I know absolutely nothing about the E Cig world, so I hope to have a good read on here and pick up some tips and advice from the members.

Without doing much research, I bought a CE4 starter kit, only because someone in work recently bought one, and am doing okay with it. One thing I would like to ask is how long does the clearomizer last for before it has to be replaced or cleaned? It seems to be working fine after ten days, but I have cleaned the bit you put into the battery a few times with tissue....

Thanks in advance for any replies, best wishes all, Eric.....

Hi and welcome to ECF Eric! Congrats on deciding to quit the stinkies :) I personally didn't use the CE4 long enough to know when it has to be cleaned, I quickly moved onto the Mini Vivi and stuck there. However, someone will come along and let you know the answer to your question. Good Luck with the e-cigs!!

Hi welcome to ECF. If I am looking for tips on how things work or how to clean them I hop in YouTube. With the clearos I have had ones pack up on me within hours or weeks it really luck of the draw in my experience I'm sure someone with more vaping experience will elaborate on that subject, you will know when it's not working properly as it tastes funny or doesn't fire up. I think this video will help you regarding the cleaning; How to Clean a Vision V3 Clearomizer - YouTube

Happy vaping. :)

Hi Eric and welcome, I've just joined the forum today myself and also from UK.

I'm 2 weeks behind you as I'm still smoking but looking to buy my first kit today...was wondering where you bought your kit from? Was it a UK stockist?
Thanks for the welcome:). I bought it from a local shop, I don't think they sell online..

Welcome young one. Oh wait, I have like a post to go on the newbie thread before I actually join gen pop. I suggest reading before buying anything extreme right away. You have a device; now be veerrry careful on deciding your path. It gets expensive early on because you want to try everything that people say is awesome. I would focus on flavors to zero in on your all day vape or baseline juice. Then look at power-wattage-styling-etc...Oh and the Clearo issue, man just shake and vape until the thing dies.

Welcome Eric. Well done on the ten days. I would say a CE4 clearo is about as disposable as they come. You can wash them out or dry-burn them, but ultimately, they are for throwing away.

A CE5 however (Vision V3) is good as you can take it apart and/or change the atomiser head.

I have 4 or 5 of these V3s. My personal favourite clearo at the moment is called an EVOD and you can buy them from vapeescape or ukecigcabin.
