Hey im in indiana also. Schererville. Know any vape shops near by? Glad to hear your are trading tobacco for vaping. As for metallic taste, don't run your voltage too hot for your coils and never vape on a low tank with those evods. If the fluid is bottom of the sight glass, fill it before any more vaping or your roast the wicks. There is a 'safe vaping chart' that will show you good voltage levels for a given ohm of coil. Evods i think run either 1.8, 2.4, or 2.8(?)ohms. On 1.8 i use about 3.2volts hope that helps

Vapeallday in St. John. If you want more info let me know.

Well I got a chance to try out the davide tank . And for the first day it was great....then started getting a burnt taste, which I attributed to my inexperience and playing with the settings on my vtr . So I put in a new coil head still had a bad taste . So I went back to the iclear 30s tank, with a different tip and after a good cleaning. I am pleased to say the Iclear is working like a champ . Not sure if bad taste came from the stock tip or something in the tank . Vapes a bit warm for my taste but is ok . Does produce good vapor and flavor , I can deal with the temp for now....
Now back to the davide . Will a burnt wick/coil ruin the juice? Also I have been looking into possibly rebuilding the coil heads for this tank. Hopefully my coils will be an improvement on the stock ones....

I personally love the iClear 30s, great flavor without all the work involved in rebuildables.
