I'm pretty new, started vaping just over a month ago, and I've written a series of articles about the experience for the Bilerico Project, which I'll be happy to post the links to once my post count is high enough.

Anyway, just wanted to intro myself. I've done a lot of research on vaping but I'm still relatively new to this so just hoping to learn more here.

I'd be very interested in this as well. I'm getting all wound up trying different juices to find my one and only!

Let me tell you what I did. I was also overwhelmed to begin with. I didn't have my taste buds back, and I was getting sorely disappointed that everyone was raving about all the flavors that I could barely taste a hint of.

So, I ordered Atomic Cinnacide from Tasty Vapor US. I was in vape heaven -- for a while. What I didn't understand was that my taste buds were growing back, but I was burning them right back out again with the strong cinnamon oil. I had to start all over again. So, I went to an inexpensive eJuice website (Vapor Renu) and ordered a few mellow-flavored juices until my taste buds grew back. When they did grow back, I could actually taste the vanilla butternut, the wild cherry, the bubblegum and the orange flavors. Now I really love vaping.

Be careful though at first with the strong oils. Avoid Atomic Cinnacide, Teaberry, strong menthols, etc. Just give your taste buds a fighting chance to delight you again. And if you order from vaporrenu.com, don't order the agressive Throat Hit option unless you really mean it. ;)

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome! :)

The Bilerico Project is a politics and culture blog, kind of a Huffington Post for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people. If you Google the word "Bilerico" you'll find it. You can find my e-cig articles by clicking on "Contributors" near the top of the page, then scrolling down to "Rebecca Juro", click then just look for the pieces among my most recent.

Currently, I'm vaping TW's State Express, Ms.T's Peanut Butter, and Ms. T's Coffee, all three of which I really like. I'm also still working out what nic level works best for me. It's either 18 or 24, but I think sometimes it depends on the brand, variety, and maybe even the flavor.

Awesome article! I just read it.

My two cents, by the way... Using an electronic cigarette is quiting smoking, IMO. If a person were to quit, using the patch, gum or any other available method we wouldn't deny them their quit-hood. To some it might seem the same addiction but my body tells me this is waaaaaaay different.

I wish great success for you in stomping out the night and morning ciggies. :)

Welcome, from a fellow newbie :)

I saw your first post and looked up the Bilerico Project, and your articles...kudos to you for a great 3-part series on e-cigs.
