Just learned about e-cigs earlier.

I was looking at smokeeverywhere.com but it seems that is not the best option.

So now that I am heavly into learning about everything, I need some suggestions.

Firstly, which e-cig to buy...

I smoke around 1.5 to 2 packs a day of basic lights or marlbroo mediums. I am usually confined to smoking outside, and really I dont want to smoke more.

Right now I am paying about $6/pack.

So what I am looking for is a way to save money, and health.

What PV(?) would you recommend, and what kinds of cartridges? Or is getting juice better?

I see many flavors, opinions on flavors would be great also.

Lastly, what are some good reputable decently priced places to buy supplies?

Welcome to ECF Jexmex! Go to the front page and scoll down to the suppliers forums and look through all the posts. The ones on this board have had a million reviews and you can see by the posts if you want to do business with them or not!
I have a 901..which around here is concidered an entry e-cig. But I don't want anything else. There is the 510 it's a smaller e-cig and concidered a real workhorse. The janty Stick and NicoSticks are boxy models, they are very good also. But you have to make the Nico yourself and the janty is already built. There are the mods like Screwdriver, GG and prodigy..they are the step ups for very serious vapers.

As for liquids..that depends on you and your tastes. Nothing is going to taste like your old brand of cigarette. Some come close but as you will soon learn, the flavors are better then anything you ever smoked.
I like to use 2 different liquids in one day, a dark..like chocolate, butterscotch, coffee or clove and a fruit, like banana, mint, cherry or melon. My all time favorite is RY4..a caramel/tobacco flavor.
Filling your own carts is cheaper then just buying prefilled carts. Making your own juice is fun too. look in the DIY liquid section.

getting the juice is alot cheaper and probably more options, so i'd definitely recommend ordering juices with your cig, either from the same company or a different one. I don't know if I can really recommend any companies yet since i'm pretty new, i've only dealt with three places so far, well two really, one is on the way.

sorry, i didn't see the response before i posted mine. but yeah she's right, wait until you taste some of the flavors out there. at first i was looking for something that tasted like my old cigs but after i got my first flavor, i forgot about'em. the only reason i would still order it now is for my brother and dad, we all smoked the same cigs but they are old fashioned and don't care for all the awesome flavors too much. oh yeah and a friend of mine i got a yeti for and he used to smoke 2 packs a day, he's had it for 2 days and has smoked 2 cigs.

Thanks MaryKay for the wonderful advise!

happily,

Well one of the reasons I smoke basic lights is because of the throat hit, and I am a very deep inhaler. I have to have good throat hit, or its worthless.

Not really too worried about size, more worried about quality, and as far as battery life, well I plan on having atleast two batteries, so I am not super worried about it.

Based on how heavy you smoke, you definitely should consider a manual switch PV. These are the best PV's (perosnal vaporizers) sold today. Rule of Thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance and reliabilty. Take your pick:
