Howdy ECF! This is my first post, and I've been reading here and there lately and just thought I'd join up. Hopefully you can answer some questions i have!

When you punch a carto for a juice like Boba's Bounty, How many is too many, also, does placement play a significant role in how good of a vape you're going to get?

Welcome to ecf Mark,sorry I dont have any experience with Boba's but from what Ive heard it is as thick as it gets .....I would use at leat 2 holes to start with,1 on oposit side of the cart from each other..I have read that some people will even slot the exsisting hole to allow for better wicking of heavier juices.You might want to google for sloting cartos for videos....Hope this helps and again...Welcome

Welcome , and as said , I'd start with two holes on opposite sides of the carto . These should be just above the delrin part on the bottom cap, on your tank . Then try that , if still not wicking right , you can add another , aybe in-between the first two , and a bit higher on the carto . Etc , etc , Until you get the desired results .

never used boba's but i do have a few thick diy juices that seem to wick pretty well with the triple punched cartos from madvapes..... they even hold up well with 100%pg too.

Some people like to slot them with a dremel fitted with a cutoff wheel. Too much causes flooding which sucks, and not enough causes dry hits which also sucks. Balance is key. Recommend getting to to clearomizers like the Vivi Nova and avoid all that hassle. If you want to know more about punching or slotting cartos do a youtube search.

Vivi is ok... I've been trying it for a week or so. It is not without its issues.

I agree with everything said here. Start with 2 decent holes and go from there as you test it out. I found that some of the AVE juice needs 3 holes to keep wicking. Keep trying, that is part of the fun!

Ive recently saw people using a saddle valve from lowes to punch cartos..2 on each side for even the thickest of juices with that seems to do the trick! I dont know first hand but apparently a lot of people prefer that method.

Thanks everyone for the warming welcome! I actually have a carto punch from Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks that works great, but the issue is finding that sweet spot (hole wise) for each individual juice that i vape on the regular. I will continue to play around with placement and size and see what i can make happen. =) Thanks again you guys!
