Hey everybody, just joined up and thought I'd say hello. I just took my first few steps towards seriously quitting analogs and starting vaping. Currently running an eGo-T with a carto tank, but I've been looking at upgrading to something VV/VW. I've gone from 1/PAD to maybe 2 analogs a day, and am still cutting back.

I'm stationed at Lackland AFB here in San Antonio, which sort of leads in to my question:

How many vapers on here are current active duty, and where are you guys stationed?

Nice to see more people in SA vaping, just wish I knew people IRL that vaped.

I agree with that. I work with a couple of guys that vape, but we don't really talk much, especially about vaping. Texans seem to have a bit of a stigma with vaping in public though, my wife and I are both still pretty iffy about it.

Welcome to ECF and the wonderful world of vaping (and not smoking.)

One place to start meeting other vapers might be at local brick & mortar stores (B&Ms)... many have a lounge/hang-out area and we're typically a friendly bunch...

One I found in SA... Electronic Cigarette Store San Antonio - Thanks For Vaping ECigtx.com

I was actually planning on heading there today. Need to pick a few things up and can't wait on shipping time, I'll let them know you guys sent me over :).

It's a nice place. It confused me a little the first time I went there, as they are located in what seems to be an old apartment complex. The staff are really friendly and easy to deal with.

Hi and welcome!

Love to see new members from San Antonio joining the ranks (little attempt at a pun there ) We also have Vaporescence on Perrin Beitel Rd. though coming up from Lackland AFB area it's a little further out of your way, close Sundays anyway. They do have a liquid sampling area with 3 racks to pick through, couches, pretty cool...

Just wanted to pass along a hello and thank you for your service :)

I'm actually from Florida..which might be worse depending on who you ask.

I just went to Thanks for Vaping Oinotna, if that's the one you were talking about. Had to pick some more stuff up, but if there's another lounge I don't know of, some info would be awesome! And I agree, we'd have to get together sometime.

Uno mas, Vaporescence is actually where my wife and I got started. That was quite a few months ago, though. They're about the same distance from where we are, and have been very helpful in the learning experience.

As for right now, I'm using an eGo-T and a carto-tank, though I picked up some clearomizers today I'm enjoying. Currently vaping French Vanilla, Yellow Cake, and Cookie Blaster (all Mt. Baker flavors) at 18mg. Loving every single one of them. Finally convinced the wife to let me upgrade though, so I'm looking at a Vamo or ZMax atm.
