Had this username for a while now but for some reason never posted anything(lurker).
You guys have already helped me so much to stick with vaping and I'm looking forward to learning even more. A bit about me: I am a musician currently working full time in las vegas. I started vaping on Blu Cigs (I know I know...) Moved to an Ego, Graduated to a prodigy as well as a Lavatube. Currently I'm super interested in a Genesis style hybrid APV and will most liekly be bugging you all about suggestions, then when I get one, how to get it to work right!
Thanks
Isaac

I wouldn't say they are bad. They introduced me to a whole world of e cigs I knew nothing about. Just not the best quality. I found myself constantly craving real cigs while using them. Had issues with juice in my mouth and very little vapor production. Before I quit I was regularly smoking 2 packs a day (very few places you can't smoke in Vegas) and the weren't string the job done for me. But I do I ow people that love them. It's all really subjective I guess

I am new to this forum which will explain this probably dumb question, are the Blu Cigs really that bad?

Define "bad."

Some people love them. More power to those people.

But I found them to be weak, inconsistent, poor battery life, and their carts lasted about 1/3 as long as they claimed. For the price they want? Not good. Couple that with not one, but two batteries dying in only the first 3 weeks (and I mean dead. Stone dead. will not hold a charge at all) and my impression of them plummeted. In fairness, they replaced those batteries quickly. But their automatic batteries also were wildly inconsistent. Some would trigger at the slightest vibration. Others needed hurricane force suction to get them to fire. And their PCC (personal charging case) did not work at all, nor did its replacement.

Their flavors are actually pretty good... on someone else's batteries. On Blue batteries, meh.

Is that bad? ;)

For a very casual smoker, provided they can get a set of batteries that actually work, they might not be so bad. For a smoker who doesn't intend to quit and just wants something to use in bars or whatever, they might be ok. But even then, for the prices they ask? Not worth it in my NOT so very humble opinion.

On this small point, I will agree. They did open me up to the world of vaping. But I'm stubborn, and once I intend to do something, I'll find a way to make it work. For each of us, I'm betting there's 20 smokers who bought them, were disgusted by them, and decided that vaping was rubbish and went back to smoking. smh

You just described half of my friends in town. The only reason I kept with it was that a buddy of mine came to visit and had an ego. It was amazing compared to the blu's! Like driving a pinto forever then your buddy lets you drive his Ferrari!!

oh ya huge difference.. I started with a joye tech 510 stick battery with the atty and cartridge and got sick of them after about 2 weeks. they just didn't last long enough & I got sick or having to change batteries all the time.. so from there i moved up to the eGo and after going through 4 batteries I got sick of them and picked up a 3.7v mod and used it until I got a pos Lavatube that just was not built to last if you ask me.. first one died after 13 days and then I got another one and I've still got it but the fire button only works when it wants to. so from there I moved up to a Vmax & loved it for the money I think it is a great devise.. still have it and use it when I'm not using my Zmax but since I got my Zmax a couple months back I just can't seem to put it down.. you just can't beat vw & it's built like a tank..lol. my wife about knocked her self out when her's fell off a dresser and hit her in the head..lol.

I've got a couple more mods on there way to me now & they are also vw devises & I can't not having them.. I do want a hybrid now though. can't wait to get my hands on one of them..
