So I saw a guy I work with hitting an e-cig near the end of last year. It got me really curious. i'd tried to quit the analogs many times before. I asked him about it, then found this wonderful forum to teach me more. You guys have helped me more than I can say.

I'm an ex-smoker that started when I was 18. In those days, we could smoke when in high school, in the smoking area. Now I'm 53. I'd quit many times, for a few months at a time. I've been doing the vape thing for 7 weeks now.

When I started vaping, I got many a strange look, but lots of questions. Now at the shop where I work, there are around a dozen of us who have quit the analogs, vaping exclusively. That's 12 people who don't smoke anymore. I'm quite proud of us. Seems like there are many folks who want to quit but don't know how. Slowly, but surely people are learning about vaping.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Welcome and congrats to you, and congrats to your work buddies, too. You and I are at about the same "quit time." I've been amazed at how painless ditching my cigarettes has been, now that I am vaping. Every time I come to the forum, I learn more about it, and little tips and tricks to keep things going smoothly. I wish you continued success!:)

Thanks everyone. It seems like it has been a very quick progression. First with the Evod starter kit, then with a MVP2 with a couple itaste vv's. Then a few protanks 2's and mini's. Now I'm on to a Provari and cartomizer tanks. Just ordered last night a 3D dripper and can't wait to have the dripping experience. I guess I'm a geek in more ways than one.
