Hi there. I am a 47 year old female. Quit smoking and switched to ecigs about 1 1/2 years ago. A few things I want to say - I'm having A LOT of trouble finding information anywhere about which tanks match my greensmoke batteries. Atlantic cigs sells them but they are $7 each! I do believe Southbeach tanks fit and just ordered 3 for $14 so let's see what happens. Another thing I wanted to contribute is a great halo recipe I've created - Cordova plus Black Calico - 1/3 black to 2/3 cordova. Great cigar taste with a little sweetness thrown in. I'm always looking for recipes so feel free to hit me up with any. I use halo juice exclusively. An issue I have with the mini tanks is that they work great the first one or two fills. Then they clog. I've had this with Migs & V2's. I've even soaked them in vodka. Nothing works. Hopefully I'll have more luck with the halo and southbeach tanks I just ordered. Any contributions welcome.

Hi and welcome! Congrats on a year and a half off. I am a big fan of Halo's liquids as well. I started out on the cartridge method as you and many others have. I also found it got very expensive, although still less than smoking. After several months, I decided to change over to a refillable clearo vape pen type of setup, going with Halo's own Triton. Not the cheapest starter, but not terrible. I found the experience WAY better than cartridges.

I now use a few small battery mods with tanks I can fill with liquids from Halo (or anyone, for that matter) and replaceable coils. For me, it's been way better both cost wise (not constantly throwing out cartridges after use) as well as just flat out tasting better. Hopefully the Halo or Southbeach cartos work out for you (actually I didn't know southbeach made refillable cartos, I thought they came prefilled). If not, then a simple starter vape kit will serve you well, saving you money as well as a better experience.

Good luck!

When it comes to vaping hardware I feel I've done enough 'time' to comment on various things. I've also tried many types and brands of e-cig in many situations to have an opinion based on the facts as I see them rather than opinions gleaned from solely the internet.
Greensmoke and Southbeach are products which set my radar on almost instant meltdown and Mig are not far off. Poor products sold at maximum profit regardless of efficacy or user satisfaction. Even Halo barely touches the bottom rung of my ladder of acceptable products. There is a huge world out there if quality products that consign the 'old tech' e-cigarettes to the history books, or would do except there is too much money and power (in the industry) to let these products pass away without milking another few million bucks off the unsuspecting new user or those that feel they are 'good enough'.
I implore you to research, find an e-cig that is twice as cheap to run and twice as good to use. Evolution should be letting this stuff disappear in a cloud of vapor. Join the movement, for your purse and your sanity! Open the door, walk through, ditch these hideous, overpriced nonsense brands for a high quality basic refillable tank system.
That's it. I said it. :thumb:
