I am a new member. I have been lurking for awhile and have learned a lot. Love you Anna ❤️ You are my favorite member so far. You are so patient and take the time to explain. Thank y’all for having me here. I smoked two to two and a half pad for 40 plus years. I haven’t had a stinky since February. You all have been such a big help to me and I can’t thank y’all enough.

Congradulations@Mimi25 ! Me too! 43 years 2-3 packs a day! Now 5 years free from those nasties! I am a new today member and learning the ropes too...It's a pretty big forum. Maybe, I'll be able to meet Anna, too. She sounds great! Linda

Congrats. You are well on your way. Months will turn into one year and then years and years. I am coming up on my 7th year anniversary. I smoked for approximately as long as you and as much as you so I do know what an accomplishment that is.

For those of us that smoked so much - we like almost always were smoking or had one in hand. The most noticeable thing for me is that I no longer get "the crazies" if I go without my vape for a short period of time. I was an absolute witch when I smoked if I could not have one regularly - which was all the time. Although I do vape a lot and regularly, I've gone to the store, been out to dinner, and stayed in a non-smoking hotel room -- something that I would never have done when I smoked! Just different things and am perfectly fine to wait to vape.

I've said it before but that is proof to me that so much other junk in analogs is what is addictive.

So Congrats again. What type of equipment are you using?

My favorite so far is the Eleaf Istick Pico 2700. Ello tank. I know it’s old but it works for me.

Hey - whatever works for you. As long as we are not using analogs! I have heard great things about the iStick series I use a Kanger Toptank mini which is older, too and I am happy with it.

Thank you Chellie. My favorites so far are the eleaf istick pico 2700 with the Ello tank and the Kangertech Kbox mini-c. I only feel comfortable with an external battery. My internals failed me in my first week and I don’t trust them. I am probably going to start diy juice next month. Counting on y’all. Apparently old dogs can learn new tricks.

Congratulations, mimi! There is a thread currently about vapers who started after the age of 50 or 55. Tell us your story there. When I arrived last year as a 65 year old, those stories meant a lot to me.
I will. Thank you. I think it’s super cool that we um slightly olders are doing this before we need oxygen and the flavors are delicious.
